yeah ay i might be getting a twin cam sierra motor now if all goes to plan would a engine from a latter model sierra fit my 5spd ? its off a 84 sierra ill find out what year the engine is

i totally agree with you there its a really anoyign thing but i honestly dont mind stuffing around with it i plenty of bends i just wana have it there for when i start the engine up etc i will get some exstractors one day dam arc weilders make a mess of anything

just cut the exhaust haveing to modify it looks very fun only till i can aford to get some exstractors

i think your find this dizzy was talked about earlyer on it needs a box from the sierra ?? im learning myself so i carnt relaly tell you what to do but im sure these guys will be happy to help u

thanks ill give that a go by chance is the wire that goes to the dizzy 2 brown wires? well i dont have a relay on my car at the moment i have the old one but its not connected and i dont have any idea where it plugs in to i have no head lights at the moment so im t hinking its this i got one park light but its permanently on even with the ignition off oh and when i hook the negative wires that go to the front indicators they start melting i think theres a serious fault somewhere i have a friend who knows a fair bit about wireing so anything you could tell me that we could work off would be verymuch apreciated cheers

yeah but the thing is the plug dont go in to that it went in to the loom other wires ran threw that so still confused nah it didnt have any extra lights on it you dnt know of any wireing diagrams that might help me out ???

so i just run the red to the positive starter and the negative to the negative on the coil? do i need any box off the sierra it has a couple in the engine bay sorry about all the questions guys im just not very good with car electronics and u's are

well the engine is in just stufing around with little things now funny how they take the most time but hay one day ill get there

hey it has a vacume advance on the side it was off a oldish sierra i think 86 or something i guess ill just try and see wat i can do hopes i can get it to work im just gona cut that stupid plug off and wire it up my self ok so like i siad theres 2 wires comeing out of the dizzy and one screwed on to the side of it they go in to a female plug then you have the male plug which only has 2 wires comeing out heres a pic to help you

hey well i thought id ask you's guys as i am confused on what to do now i know i have a positive going to the coil and i know you need the negative from the coil going to the dizzy does it need another positve from somewhere? it has 3 wires and im lost on what the third one would be its a sierra dizzy if anyone could help me out i would apreciate it alot thanks ok now ive had a closer look theres a red a black and a brown wire which go in to a plug i have the othe end that goes in to that plug and the wires that come out of that are green and yellow and red and black im wondering if id be better to cut the plug off and wire it up my self but im unsure ive tryed running a negative to the coil from the green and yellow and a positve to the battery/starter from the red and black but nothing so im abit lost on what to do next any ideas?

lol very carefully yeah the recess is for strength so i didnt whant to go cuting it out im gona full that up and tidy the front up so it will look good the alloy will grow on u

i decided to do some custom work on the indicators

well i put my car up in the project forum i never put it in the discusion part if i wanted u to take the piss out of it i would of i dnt care if u dont like it i proberly wouldnt like something on your car but i dont go trying to make my self look big my dissing other peoples cars i dont care if you have lots of posts or a famous on the forum but i do not see why you should go takeing the piss out of my car i put alot of hrs in to it and im proud of it theres nothing about my car that says rice if you carnt accept change you obveously dont have a very open mind

i honestly dnt think my exhaust is overkill if it was sticking out like half a meter then yes id completely agree theres nothing wrong with abit of change sick of seeing the same setups on escorts etc that star muffler is way kool does it give u a extra 10hp?

i really wouldnt know but its had a bit of body work done to it yeah and i should give a shit y that u dnt like my exhaust its not on ur car so get over it i like it and thats all that matters to me

update both park lights at the front work now but the rear ones dont might be a job for a sparky i think
