  8. hmmm well i done it but it may not be correct there are some wires where i do not know where they go the engine isnt actually in there yet i was just checking the electrics but yeah ill try get some pictures up ive tryed useing a wireing diagram out of the manual to work it out but the colours arnt the same as wat the book says i wouldnt think anything else would work if i wired it up wrong maybe theres a fault in the lights there is allso some round metal thing i forget wat its called lol i think it might be a voltage relgulator or something to do with the lights if only it actually siad ill go attempt to find some batterys for my digtal cam and take some pics cheers
  9. hey im a new member here i have a 1976 mk2 escort and i am doing a 2ltr conversion on it im abit confused on the wireing tho i cant seem to get the headlights to work but i can get tail lights/ rear indicators and reverse lights to work one of the lights at the front is on permanently i think its a park light and the front indicators are permanently on the car was originarly a auto but ive converted it to a manual 5sp sierra box just wondering if anyone would have any idea whats wrong with my wireing im thinking maybe something has burnt out ive checked the fuse's and there all good some red light came up on the dash like a lightlin bolt with a arrow on it i was thinking that might be a warning light but i wouldnt know never had the battery hooked up before thanks oh and theres a blue light permanently on the dash even with the ignition turned off
