are alternators a straight swap from generators? i heard you have to change it from negative earth? anyone no much about changing them? cheers

how low does it sit? my car had 17'"s with low profile tyres on it before i brought it but it had no problems with rubbing have a look at this http://spaces.msn.com/members/mk2cortina/

if ya have a sparkly paint job ya need the chromes to back it up if it was orginal i would say go with old mags my car had chromes on it before i got it looks way better with mini lites
