You lost me... Yeh flipped the centres. Hopefully get some better pics with my camera before the weekend. Anybody got any ideas for a cheap tyre that would stretch on to a 14x6? Ive heard of 155/55R14s? Can you get these in NZ?

Hi all. Just picked this up from Palmy in the weekend. Cant believe how tidy it is. Factory 1GEU and auto are cruisy which serves it purpose. Having a few minor electrical problems with it; the overdrive switch seems to be shorting out, the heater fan isn't working and a few other little issues but should have them sorted soon. Bought some wheels the day after I got it home. SSR Meshs measuring 14x6 but have been reversed so have plenty of dish Plan is to lower on these wheels and tidy it up some more and just use it for cruising round... (all pics have been taking on phone so are crap quality, will replace with better ones at a later date) All questions, comments etc to be made here thanks... di0n's GX61 Mark II Grande

I'm slowly replacing parts of my suspension and steering in my ute, 1983 Mazda B1600. Can anybody tell me if later model power steering systems and steering box fit? Im hoping it might handle one day because it's a dog at the moment. It floats around alot on the open road and is very hard to stay in the lane. Not sure what is causing this problem as I have replaced tierods and got a wheel alignment. Any help welcome.

The old work horse is still chuggin along. Hasnt died yet. I'm still hunting for an FE3 engine. Sold my 17s the other day and bought some two piece 15x7s. Im getn the lip polished and painting the centres. Will put pics up when theyre finished. Not sure if this is the right place to be asking but does anyone know where I can get: A FE3 thats done less then 200000km A FE series bellhousing from a courier or b-series ute FE series engine mounts from same model ute Im planning on getting a drop tank built to fit between the leaf springs behind the diff. So work is progressing slowly as cash allows. Will let you know how it goes.

The utes started to smoke quite badly so im looking for a mazda FE3 engine out of a 626. I've heard they're a 2.0L 16v twincam. Apparently two different variations came out, one being 130hp, and the other 170hp. Let me know if you know of any. Not sure how you tell the two apart but I'm not too worried because even the 130hp engine would be close to 5x the hp im making now.

About two years ago I bought a 1979 B1600. The floor, pillars, doors and anything else made of steel was rusty. It was running but the brakes were non existent. A few months later I bought a 1982 B2200 diesel ute. It had no motor or box but the brakes were working fine and the cab was in reasonable nick. (No pics of this one sorry) I stripped the cab off the chassis and started rebuilding it. Turns out the cab was worse than expected, but 6 months later it was painted and ready to go back on the chassis. While i was bolting things back together I was offered a pink stickered 1980 B2000. It was lowered on 17s with new shocks etc. So after some negotiating I bought that too. I stripped the cab off, bolted my good cab on and am just in the process of getting it warrented. Heres some pics:- My 1st ute Rusty floor Cab painted and back on chassis I resprayed the white rims and got smaller tyres Look much better than before My latest purchase Had to try the little wheels on it. This is it now. Ive had to remove the big wheels because the wof guys wont pass it with them on.

Does anyone know how to remove mk1 cortina guards?
