went and got some quotes and prices for things that i need to do my converstion decide not to go with the cossie as it cost to much so i have got myself an sr20det cost 3000 which aint to bad includes box and ecu and loom just went and got prices for mounts getting my diff shortens and rebuilt and all other things like intercooler crossmember gearbox member roll cage bucket seats fuel lines etc etc cam to around 15000 so it a add 10gs i reckon i should be on target then what ya reckon

my esky would be lucky to make it to 145 lol it screams up there and the wobbles dont get me started lol wheel balancing is needed but going off the road in about a month after i pick up the panel van when it gets back on the road it will do 200kph + easy

i know o woll have to change the sump but if i cant find a 1600 cortina sump could i use a rs2000 crossmember as there is one on trade me ???

ok another project lol on the weekend i am hopefully picking up a mk5 cortina running the standard 2l but with a race cam and standard 5 spd im getting the whole care for around 450$ i was wondering if i could put the motor and box into an escort panel van that i will hopefully be getting soon it will most likely be a mk2 but if im really lucky i might be allowed the mk1 (hoping) what sump should i use drive shaft and i will need to change the gear box hole and member ?? and cert is that all i will need to do or am i missing something cheers

if i was going to fit a aussie cortina diff how will i go about do that i know it will need to be shortened and housings made for the spring but is it a 4link or 5link ??

i went to pick a part the other weekend and found a 2l dohc sierra motor and box that i was going to put in my esky so i got my money ready and went back 2 weeks later to find only the block left so now i have decide to buy a 2l cosworth i now they cost heaps and are hard to find but i dont mind importing one from england with a crossmemer and i have a 6speed race box that i will mate it with just need to get a bell housing made up but what i need to know what will be the best diff to use keeping the leaf set up and will i need to get a custom drivesheft made ?? i reckon i will and what is the engine code cheers any healp would be great

hey i got me a 2l carb of a ford sierra i got the manifold but left all the wires in the car now i want to hook it up to my 1300 crossflow in my esky how would i do this can i do this ??

cheers for the advice ay but i will still do have always wanted to so yeh you never know might turn out ok ay if you think of any thing as that sucks aout the motor tell me ay the more i know what sucks about them i can change during the rebuild ay

do you know if the sierra crossmember will fit or will it be easier just to change the mounts on my escort

im looking at buying a dohc sierra engine to put in my escort im just wondering if it would bolt straight in or will i have to change to mounts and will the gear box fit and can any tell me the specs thanks

how do you go about resetting your leafs is it easy or best to take it to some one to do it cheers

my mate has just bought a 1979 datsun 120y station wagin and he has a momo wheel sitting around but where finding it hard to find a boss kit to fit does any one know where to get one or any help thanks
