thanks for the help but its none of those and no logan, it doesnt actually run smooth at higher RPM.... it runs better but not smooth.
the problem is that it's only running on the number 1 and 2 cylinder lol
the plugs, leads amd connections of number 3 and 4 are fine and the timing light senses power because it flashes the spark plugs don't spark though so i'm guessing that the dizzy cap isn't connecting properly to give enough power to make a spark... but enough to set of the timing light... is that possible?
the only problem with this theory is that the dizzy worked on my last engine
i've been told that if i take the resistor out at the coil that it leaves the power at 12v instead of 6 so that the spark gets put into 40,000 instead of 20,000 with the resistor at place. can anyone confirm this? i don't want to kill anything but if it's possible without killing either coil, dizzy, plugs, engine etc then it'd be cool
