I went into palmside yetsreday arvo and Simon in there said that they're coilovers they make for their group 4 escorts cant be certed? Something to do with the gussets on the bottom of the tubes... Wasn't sure about that as I've seen lots of sets of certed coilovers on here and then the people at Stock said that wasn't right either...
No. Palmside are correct. Their ones will have reinforcing triangles welded between the tube and the hub. This can't be created as you aren't allowed to weld to the cast hub at all.
If they didn't add the gussets it would be all good.
A bit weird that the people at stocks wouldn't know that

lined with EPS sandwich freezer panel and that's it. container already painted in 2pack, not keen for any more hot work.
should have got 2 x 20'ers!
there is more welding to do on it anyway, unfortunately. needs tags on top for roof bracing but they couldnt be done pre-paint as they made the box over-height for transport. and welding to steel plates in the footings.
any of you chaps want to magic me an 'acceptable alternative' to bracing the roof to the box?
Magnets?

Can see if we can all meet up at the farm around the corner from southwards that my dad stays at? might make it easier to group up?
