  1. WEC is my jam, love it, try to watch the full 24 hours of le mans etc each year. usually have main race stream on TV muted, Radio le mans commentary playing, couple of other in car live streams on other tv and laptop, and then live timing etc on an ipad, only way to watch it tbh,

Actually going to be in europe while le mans is on this year and hoping to get our itinerary to work so that I can be at the track for the race but not sure how likely that will be.

Maybe we need a motorsport subforum and can have an individual thread for each type of racing, would be keen for at least a WRC thread and maybe V8 bogancars as well

  2. I have a media center PC running xbmc that I have set up sportsdevil on, can pick from different streams. Usually watch the UK sky streams or BBC.

Try to watch them live if not then I also have my PC set up to download the qualifying and race torrents and it adds those to the media center for me to watch later.

Have the last few years of races archived and the qualifying from most of them as well.

Found a sweet torrent that is all races from 1970 ish to mid 2000s. slowly chugging away but is over a TB and very few seeders

  3. They need to do another screw up where you can buy whole trays of red bull for free again.

(A while ago they had smartfuel discounts on cans of redbull and also a special where you could buy 2x redbull for cheap at the same time. could buy a whole tray of redbull and get enough fuel discount that the red bull worked out to be free)

I do the $40 accumulate each time then redeem on 2x cars at once when possible. makes me feel like a boss getting 50cpl discount on 140L of fuel

  4.

yeah man, same block/engine family as the turbo 240, 740, some 940, factory  exhaust manifolds will fit etc but put the turbo in a yuck place. need to drill oil drain etc. rods are weaker than the 2.3 engines AFAIK.

Easiest would be to get a whole 2.3 out of another car and swap it over. either run a megasquirt etc or get an LH2.4 out of a later car and wire that all in.

Check out http://www.volvo300mania.com/uk/forum/ they will have all the info you want, quite a common swap over there

Read all about it here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volvo_B21_engine

Volvo stuck a hairdryer on the 360 GLT in the mid-80s, afaik the same bits as all their other 2-litre turbos.

This is wrong, GLT was never turbo, no factory turbo in the 360 series

  5. Have always done F+P dishwashers, washing machines and dryers. either F+P or simpson stoves. But thats just because thats what I used to work around so sort of know how to fix on my own if needed. Used to buy broken ones and repair then flip them for extra cash.

Unsure about anything gas as never dealt with that stz.

Few times I have fiddled with delonghi stuff I liked how it was built/put together but parts were spendy

Bosche same boat, seemed nicely made but havent fiddled too much

Hated anything Classique I have ever worked on. Cheaply made and shit and parts were so expensive.

  6. Screw extended warranties. Thats what consumer guarantees act is for.

Our washing machine crapped out 9 months after warranty. Just had to mention CGA and they paid for a bunch of repairs. we just had to pay $70 for the call out and then the repairs didn't work so they replaced with brand new machine.

Dishwasher got repaired for free a year and a half after warranty expired.
