If the old engine was 1100 or 1300 then the rad will prob be too small.
1600 youll be ok.
Either way just plumb it up and atch temps.

1. As above.
You can use the std 4speed if u dont want to use the sierra 5speed. Another thread on here tells ya how. think author is Raizer.
2. As above
3. Extractors plus exhaust. Fr32 grind cam. Clean ports up. Jetted 32/36 carb. Thatll be a bit better and cost fuck all. Balance rotating assembly while your at it if engine coming apart.
If it were me thats all id do otherwise to get to the next step you start needing to spend $ on clutch, serious porting and twin carbs... at that stage id look into turbo or snother modern engine.

Pump. 044 is heaps. The Bosch 910 would be sweet as. Make sure its not a ripoff pump though.
VL Commy will also suit but they getting a bit scarce now and old.
I agree, unless your racing or drifting then a surge tank may not be required.
Id do Fuel the other way around to below as the current NA fuel line wont be rated to the pressure of EFI.
- Use the existing line as the return.
- Run new EFI line for feed. 8mm will be heaps. Supercheap rubber EFI hose is cheapest I've found.
- Depending on tank you may need a new fitting welded in for the new line.
When running fuel line think about where the exhaust runs.
Just an 044 inline in existing feed and chuck in a new hose for return.
Be easy to find a way of getting the return back into the tank easily.- 1

Just for record I have previously done my own rust repairs after being pulled up on WOF at VTNZ (outrigger on Cortina). They were happy for me to do the repair as long as I left it exposed so they could see the work prior to passing the recheck.
That was 3 years ago, things may have changed.

Stick with the 32/36 but change jets. They are a nice carb and I wouldnt imagine its too hard to find details on what jets will be a good match.
