  1. Sucks to be dragging this thread up again, but unfortunately some fuckers smashed their way into my garage last night & helped themselves to my MX bike.

I know a few on here ride, so would appreciate it if you could keep eyes & ears open.

Was a 2007 Yamaha YZ250, still wearing original Blue plastics & graphics. Had silver Excel rims, with brand new Michelins. GYTR Folding levers, and a shiny new FMF muffler on the back.

    Thanks

  2. That's good, I was just curious, knew your one had been resprayed, but wondered what it was originally. Very very rare to see a GTV in the original 2N2 White/Black Panda, in fact i don't believe it was ever an option until mid 1985.

So your one was originally white (038) like my Trueno GTV & Levin notch.

I agree the Red looks good, really want to get a Red or Red/Black one for the collection next.

  3. My workmate Steve originally carried out the 20Valve conversion on this car, back in 2004 or 2005, after another workmate had blown the original Bluetop 4AGE.

He was a bit sad when I showed him your photos, looks like it has seen plenty of abuse since then.

  4. What kind of cover? Like a hard fibreglass one? Or just a standard soft Tonneau cover?

I had a Tonneau cover made up for my old Hilux, would be a similar size to a datsun. Just done at the local auto upholstery place, was $300 from memory.

The round plug in the bottom left of your photo should be the correct one, wiring colours may differ between NZ New & Jap Import, probably explains why they are different to what you were told on Club-K. Have you located the cooling fan relay in the drivers kick panel? With the key in the on Position remove the relay & you can check for voltage on the relay board, as long as your fuse is ok you should have voltage here. With a short piece of wire you could also bypass the relay & prove the circuit to the fan. Relay itself has a diagram on the side indicating which pins you will need to loop.

  6. I originally sold those 3 wheels to Walker.NZ. Got another set of 4, 14x6.5 +4 so you could run a staggered setup. Prob not looking to sell outright, but would be keen to swap for other sets or pairs of 14x6.5 - 14x8

  7. Everything you could ever want to know about vehicle glazing

But basically it's 35% all around for your 4 door wagon, or any other Class MA Passenger vehicle. People sometimes remove the rear seats & seatbelts from 2 Door KE70's (actually some came out from factory like that) then they can be registered as a class MB vehicle, which allows for installation of darker tint from the B pillar back.

  8. take the plug off the thermo switch, with the key in on position this should cause the fan to run all the time. If that doesn't work then disconnect the fan & check voltage at the plug end to prove it's not a case of a faulty fan motor. Relay is up under dash on Right side, when you take the plug off the thermo switch you should be able to hear the relay clicking on & off
