Hey don't blame meeeee! That was todd complaining about the fan belt and the seat belts. He was pissed as fuck. Kinda annoying to be honest. IMO, I don't give a shit about the seatbelts lol, but some people have em some don't. In a car as awesome as that, being without should be obligatory. Makes for a better ride. But if you got them then wearing them will save you $150 when the cops scope you out (visions of everyone bolting from Maccas runs through head) And I helped fix the wiper (and I can't remember who that was directed at lol)

It's only got a 4K in it, so it wouldn't be a massive increase no, and it's got a few off the original Simca bits so if I shined it up and made look non toyota ish then a WOF guy might not notice, but I'd prefer to have the decleration certs. It's really well done anyways, has been like it for 15 or so years so I doubt I'd have a problem. Just makes life easier lol.

Whats the story on cars modifed before the cert regulations were bought in 1991 (I think it was 91)? Cause the simca had the motor it has now put in the year prior to the cert regs, but I have no way of proving this currently - I'm trying to get proof from the garage that did it via the old owner. If I can't, am I going to run into problems?

I should really get some new bushes or something for the shocks in the back of the van. One is fully missing a bush hehehe. I have an old shock want wondering if I can get the old original bush out. Not sure how to try and get it out though.

Another Update. Just tidied it up and working on the body, filling in little paint defect and stuff getting it ready for some paint (decided I may as well do a full body spray). And I scored me two electric sanders from DSE (a mouse and a finishing one) for $10.00 each, brand new with cases and sandpaper and one year warranty. Bigups to my olds for having a trade account Some more pics....... Bottom panel in the rear valance that I have to replace. Getting the steel today hopefully Front left corner, which since this photo was taken has gained alot more primer spots The positively nasty rust around the rear door latch which I'll probably get a panelbeater to take care of as it's a WOF issue. My now much cleaner interior. Not the best but it'll do for now See my totally cool 'ignition switch' hanging from the dash is the form of 3 wires That's all thats worth showing at the moment, more pics will no doubt be on the way in the next week or so. Just gotta get me some more primer now.
