Wat i call slow is after all of that a standard escort 1600 would take it with ease

My mates one has had full panel and paint its on 15s, got new seats and carpet, the doors have beed retrimmed, got all steroe that was in it a part from the headunit, and its got twin carbs, flat top pistons, lumpy cam, bigger vavles anddouble valve springs.

After all of this it is still as slow as shit, and uses more gas than my mates 12a

it depends on wat model sr it is. They are real bad for rust so make sure you check it out properly.

My mate got his '77 SR for aroun 6g but that has a bit of work done to it, and look srealy nice.
