  1. Anyone got experience with adjustable reach levers? The clutch engages at the very end of the stroke on my wr250 and its at the limit of my small child hands reach. Aliexpress has heaps of options but hard to imagine im getting long lasting quality for $8 delivered for new lever sets. Zeta on the other hand is $150 for the same.

nah not yet, would like a temp and rev gauge, something real small and digital. open to suggestions

trailtech do a TTO model which means you can get a rev gauge and a temp gauge separately. I have a trailtech vapor on my street magic which is twice as much as the two gauges, but has more info on it. Trailtech stuff seems legit. I have a stage6 gauge on my other bike and its not too bad, but the trailtech is better IMO

  3. good shops around auckland to try out motorbike jeans? I have tried motomail which was OK, but was missing a bunch of stuff in my sizes. Draggin Twista was my favorite but couldnt get my size/colour for 4 weeks +. And not keen to buy only from online when spending $300+

  4. I always see people changing their handle bars on their bikes (mostly dualsport or somewhat dirt orientated stuff). Why do they do this? Is it because factory bars are uncool looking, or give bad posture? Maybe aftermarket bars are better diameters? How would I know if I needed to change bars?

  5. heavier clutch spring does a couple of things, but effectively means that the rollers need to be heavier too. Common use would be where the rollers get too light, like less than 2g, or maybe you dont have the right selection. Also the heavier clutch spring pulls down the gearing faster when you come off the throttle

  6. Hey what’s the general idea with off-road tyres? Skinnier is better? I recall someone saying my street magic with knoblies on it with standard wide street rims would perform much worse than a dirt bike skinner wheel with skinnier tyres. It seems obvious when comparing sumo’s vs dirt bikes but I can’t seem to find much on google about it. Comparing tarmac to gravel mostly

What he said, Has anyone tried a drill doctor VS the toolshed style ones?

drill doctor looks to have a rotating lobe = $250

Tooolshed no brand style ones are $80 - $100.

I presume it's a case you get what you pay for? Or is drill doctor just he OG design? therefore OG tax?

I ended up buying a drill doctor for $270 from NZ as it was a present and I wanted to buy something decent. Not sure about OG pricing but It’s a nice unit
