  1. i have no info on the eksy, nor any idea on the ramp.

    its basicaly at a speedway track.

    Pay 5$ per person to get in, then theres the skid pad in the inner grass area.

    do a skid, change wheels, park up for a bit...... repeat a few times :)

  2. i had a similar problem to what you described, took the cort to my mechanic, who did one wheel bearing hten took it for a drive,

    didnt fix the problem.

    swaped diffs fixed it.

    the best thing is, he never invoiced me for the work!

    hahaha

  3. Yea it sucks that the old man got injured,

    as for ricci, hes well known to the nzhondas crew to be a major attention seaker, has been banned from the forums several times, and only comes back now that this has happend and wants some sympathy

  4. Evos ah yeah that will come in time :)

    At the present time i dont have the time/money/space to have a oldschool project, if i did well i wouldnt be tryin to sell the cortina.

    If i go back to old school then my bet is it will be of the 8banger variety :twisted::twisted::twisted:

  5. meh supra been there done that had the 3.0 twin turbo wasnt too bad but nothing special

    They never made a 3L twin turbo, only a 2L tiwn, a 2.5 twin and the 3L Single. The 2L is pretty crap, considering the cars weight, there is a bit of potential in the 3L but they tend to blow head gaskets alot.

    (these figures from memory)

    2TT = 200hp @ fly

    3T = 230hp @ fly

    2.5TT = 275hp @ fly.

    u will think twice when u start doing 360's down the highway

    Thats what the 9" wide rear wheels are for!

  6. Get those gay wheels off it, needs dish.

    Is it a whale? It looks heavy as fuck

    Dish is good, but that involves a) $$ for wheels and more $$$ for insurance.

    1560kg ish dry :shock:

    Black is nice, but lighter colors show off the pumped guards etc so much better!

    i paid about 7k for it,

    and insurance is 960$ a year :shock:

  7. 40% of police revenue comes from traffic offences, so guess what, 40% of the poilce force is sent out to gather this.........

    1. Police look at speeeding statistics, and see that a lot of people are speeding.

    2. So they throw more traffic cops at the problem.

    3. Since there are more cops out to catch people, more people are caught speeding.

    4. This increases the speeding 'statistic', which means they think "speeding is on the rise! More traffic cops are needed!"

    5. Go to 2.

    BTW another tip:

    If you have a (semi)decent cellphone with a voice record function,

    When you get pulled over turn the record on and pop it on your dash,

    If you do this you can either a) laugh at the recording later or B) use it against the cop if he/she says something out of place.

  8. Fitting of or modification to: LVV certification is not required provided that:

    the seat is either an OE seat from another vehicle, or similar to the OE seat and of a

    known and reputable aftermarket brand, and

    - the seat is fitted to unmodified OE seat anchorages, and

    - the anchorage or operation of seatbelts is not affected, and

    - the relationship between seat, seat occupant, and location of the seatbelt

    anchorages is not affected, and

    - the vehicle is not fitted with airbags in that seating position.

    (Note that LVV certification is not required where the only modification is the removal of

    seats and/or seatbelt anchorages. However, a class change and a new load rating may be

    required in some cases.)

    I suggest you check the legal issues first
