    Seat rails

Fitting of or modification to: LVV certification is not required provided that: the seat is either an OE seat from another vehicle, or similar to the OE seat and of a known and reputable aftermarket brand, and - the seat is fitted to unmodified OE seat anchorages, and - the anchorage or operation of seatbelts is not affected, and - the relationship between seat, seat occupant, and location of the seatbelt anchorages is not affected, and - the vehicle is not fitted with airbags in that seating position. (Note that LVV certification is not required where the only modification is the removal of seats and/or seatbelt anchorages. However, a class change and a new load rating may be required in some cases.) I suggest you check the legal issues first

  12. ah okay then, 511cube V8's for everyone!!!! unforunatly mate, it doesnt always work this way, he may want to stay 1600 for a reason, maybe to preserve the the car in its 'factory' state, maybe he wants to enter in racing classes for <1600 cars, he may infact want to do alot of things hence why he asked about modding his engine not upsizing it...
  13. your engine is sad in what way? no power? no torque? slow reving? its best to have a good read up on your engine to start with and find what other people have done, port and polish without doing the cam isnt going to give you much, and doing the head without sorting the fueling and exausting isnt gonna help either

    Certification?

as far as im aware, any mods done on the car before 1992 do not have to be certified, but still have to be up to standard, not tosure how accurate that info is, maybe someone could do a little digging and see what they can find
