hi lowfreq, sorry man, i dont know you as such, ive been reading your build up thread and your "stretched tire" part, i've got 10inch wide 15" rims, trying to see what would be a good tire to stretch on it, tried to PM you, damn site isnt sending them.

on your pic's you had 205/60s on your 10" rims? i was after a less extreme stretch, a 216/60 or 225/60, what are your views or suggestions dude? PM if you want dude.

underhood engine fires!, had some header wrap on, unbeknownist to me, i had an oil leak which pooled and collected on the header wrap...... went for a drive, headers got hot, and the header wrap and the oil caught fire!!!........ thank F@#K for the $29 i spent on a lil fire extinguisher!

had a fire in the engine bay................ the extinguisher is the best thing i ever brought.......... without it, id be the owner of a burt out wreck...

cut them to just bigger than you want them, then use a angle grinder with a grinding disk and round/smooth them, or if you have a wood working sanding disk available use that its better, i just tacked them to my work bench (to hold them in place) then ground/rounded them to the height i wanted and made them look nice and smooth, not all half ar5ed.

I use valvemaster, i was told to, so i did.

it just replacing the old line that went to the oilpressure gauge... the old one split sending oil everywhere!

thats why i went to an electronic gauge, i dont think a fuel line will do, my oil pressure is about 70pounds, and a standard fuel type line wont handle that, fuel injection lines might, do you want a "good" solution or just a "fix it" to get it going?

depends if the oil line is going to be under pressure? ring up an hydraulics place and ask them, waitamate hydraulics in henderson (if your in auckland) should be able to tell ya.

no your point is that you feel for some reason you should be able to be let off for breaking the applied speed limit for that area, even tho the police do give everybody a 10km limit, and you choose to go above that again..... and you got caught, you took the risk and you got snapped...... now you feel that its the fault of the whole policing systems, and that cops on the beat should be able to let you off if you have a good reason....... so whats a good reason? and at what limit does it become "not" applicable? when your doing 70km in a 50km zone?........ 80km maybe..... so the law's should be fluid and really just open to interperation!?!..... and yes the statistics for roads fines has gone up.......... because more people are getting caught!....... and yes if policiy is pushed to violent crimes i bet statistically that incidents of violent crimes will go up, but the police are taking their policiy off government guidence which is pushed by the public....... who are concerned about the amount of road deaths, some cause by speed and alcohol and dudes with dodgey cars...... so unfortunately the cops do what they are told.

All you could come up with was 'obey the speed rules! simple.' which wasn't even much of an arguement towards my complaint anyway. My point was a bit deeper than simply obeying the law or not. And I told you I'd talked to many cops about this and you assumed I was some kid boyracer getting smart..
