Haven't done much lately to the car. However I did put it into a kerb in the wet on Xmas day :opps: So need to get damaged Ferroche mag fixed sometime.
Not to mention theres a bearing wear type noise coming from the rear now. Got my mate Darrin to have a look at it. No play, but must be something catching/fucked the diff. Gonna have a decent look tomorrow.
Painted those SSR MKIII centers black. Came up good!

Not sure about prices in Auckland but my mate Wazza got some 195/14/60 DZ101s for $129 a tyre. 15's might be more?

OK, I've decided to go with a 12a monster bridgeport motor boes boes
Hmmm the 3sge idea I'm liking. What about gearboxes? Can I still use my W55 with the correct bellhousing or will I have to use an Altezza box?
I do have a pretty skinny budget so to start off with all I want is a new motor do whats needed to get it going and not spend more money on the motor.
Knowing me I'll prob get a few things done to the motor later on though.
So what, the motor will probably cost me around $1500?

Hmmm yeah. Cost is a biggie too. Already spent too much on the car without making it that much better (hindsight is a great thing).
I'm looking for bang for buck really. Don't really wanna go do cams, cam gears, massive turbos, link, rebuilds etc.
Just chuck it in there and go better!

Ahaha sweet. We had a good afternoon ay. Trying to blow up our Civic paddock basher. We fed paint, degreaser, glass, rocks, grass, mud, ciggy's through the oil filler on the rocker cover, advanced timing hard and it still idled sweet
It did mean back fires, anti lag stz haha.

^^ yeah good ideas. Got sweet f all money atm so any of those plans are on hold for now. Will just have the cam and double valve springs put in for trackday I'd say at this stage. Put it on a diet maybe then thats about it for now.
