  1. Thats the other thing, whose going to be able to buy these. Just anyone or are you actually going to make the club into more of a "club" now.

With out the ablitity or resources to screen every purchaser, shirts/sticks ect will be limited to those who......Pay! If you can pay for a shirt, you will get a shirt.

At the moment OS is not a club, but that seems like a prospect in the near future, when/if it takes place OS it will be formed into incorperated society.

  2. This has been covered way to many times........

The cut off is aprox 1980, with a few models crossing over eg escorts.

As i metioned above, the oldschool we based this site on is 70's with the exception of the ocasional early 80's model car which design was similar to the 70's era designs.

  3. Does it have a Drum assembly on the rear end? If so thats most likey your problem.

I would take a stab and say that is the handbrake spring.

With out that the shoes may be completely out of adjustment. Hence you push you foot to the floor and the shoe has a long distance to travel before it contacts with the drum.

Reinstall it and adjust the shoes till there just about contacting the drum and giv it a try.

  4. Haha bit of a coincidence here, I was looking at getting challengers, as for who ever said it would be hard to find the right offset/patern, thats B/S, you have them made to your offset/patern(the the whole reason for getting the performance wheels brand of mag.) I think 500 isnt a bad deal and they'll look smick for the time.

Whats more strange is that i didnt get the challengers and instead brought the wheels in the lower pick(gold centres with polished lip, but mine have silver centre). Hows that for a coincidence.

You'd have to get them certed wouldn't u?

Yes you have to have them installed by a complience centre.

  7. All i can say is sand paper= ghetto.

Get it done by a pro, then get it clear coated.

That way all you need to do it wash it witha spunge and it looks freshly polished.

  8. Those sounds like the wires going to the pick-up- not sure if these dizzy have an external module (usually on top of the coil) should connect to that, No idea bout the misti's tho so cant tell ya which wires they connect to.

Electronic means it stays perfect(well almost) where as with points the gap setting goes out after a period of time and u have to re-set them. electric also give fatter spark.

  9. Could possibly run off to the manifold, a vacume diafram maybe, the ol' niki's use to have a few of these comming off, and most carbs have at lease one. Not sure tho. Block em off and see how she runs.

  10. Nothing really eh. Just marketing ploy- But the idea is type one is for low boost apps, and type 3 for high boost-racing apps. But design wise theres nothing really special about any of the 3- just differnt variations of the same thing. There is no universal "type #" design that means anything or has any specific referance to design.
