For anyone that might come across this thread in future searching for an answer, I called Palmside and they said either 150 or 170 would be fine, the guy I spoke to said he would go 170.

Just sent a pair of Dellorto's off to get vapor blasted and now I'm preparing to service and rebuild them when I get them back so went to order a Service kit from palmside and realised I have no idea what size needle valves to get.
They're going on a 1600 Kent (Escort 1600 sport), I think it may have a mildly worked cam as it definitely sounds a bit lumpy but not sure for certain. Never done this before so not really sure what I should be aware of in order to get the correct NV size, any help and/or advice would be just swell.

Thanks for the replies, ended up going with Star Insurance seen as they were the cheapest, great customer service (obviously only experiencing the sales end of that though) and did everything that Classic Cover did.

I got a quote from Swann but they were one of the most expensive ones for me.

There's an oldschool club discount too
What's the discount and what's the club?

Just wondering what everyone uses for Insurance on their cars.
Currently thinking Classic Cover or Star Insurance.
Also what exactly constitutes as "modified" to a insurance company? At this point I only have extractors and Minilites and I have a side drafts which will eventually go on once I've had them reco'd. -

Cars you own: MkII Escort 1600 Sport, MK7 Fiesta ST
Mods to them (can be brief or detailed): Trying to keep the MKII fairly original although some Dellorto's will be going on soon.

No pics yet but will post some once I've cleaned her up and taken some nice photos.
How you found out about oldschool: Google
Anything else you want to add:
Basically just looking for a community that can help with advice and parts. I don't do facebook and it can be pretty hard finding groups without it so if anyone knows of any other forums like maybe something more Ford specific that might be good for a NZ Esky owner please let me know.

This but make sure you agitate it first with a drill brush and a decent upholstery cleaner.
