Type it out for you though. In brackets next to it, is my PB from last time
MPH: 99.51 (99.65)
was there any reason you can think of the trap speed being basically the same? I'd thought it would be much higher

I left a line of HIPS filament sitting in both fuel samples, and almost instantly you could see the filament starting to fizz up.
After about 3 hours they were both just a pile of goo.is there a paint or coating you can do that will be risk free(to the engine) and still be fuel safe protecting the plastic?

While there, I thought I'd have a dig through the tyres and see if I could find anything with big chunky tread blocks for cheap autocross goodness.
would it be worth getting a regrooving tool on some simple ish tyre designs.
the speedway guys i used to sell my panels to(when i'd buy a car wreck for an engine/box etc) used to always use retread tyres because A: they were cheap, B: the rubber was softer and C: the tread design was kind of aggressive (at least the style they were buying was) but they also did groove them also a bit from memory

video of dorts in the dust not loading?
sounds like a blast, needs a 4wd conversion next? -
i watched some of these waste engine oil(black diesel) a few years back also, the guy i bought My toyota surf(wish i kept it) from used to do his oil change and the old oil would go straight into the fuel tank 4 litres x $1.00 litre back then = $4 saved in fuel..(in his eyes) and no need to get rid of the waste. it did smoke though, and stank of oil burning.
i put 300ml of old oil in My diesel gemini fuel tank at half full level as a test once and it was smelly and smokey, so i topped it up full with diesel and didn't do that again.
i reckon these black diesel users must have a trail of stink behind them and probably smoke. but there's probably a ratio that's minimal. (not sure on the ratio and if it's less an issue when the engine is warm.. )

this guy has some good tools for waste veg oil pumping and filtering. (and some pretty awesome furnace things he builds and runs on it)
runs his car on it also, but not sure how.i know of one person using a blend of veg oil with dsl in summer of 90% veg, and winter 50/50 mix in a mazda/trader truck (can't remember the engine)
i bought a book years ago and never got around to running what it suggests, which is a dual fuel set up of straight waste oil(starting on dsl), need to heat the oil in this case to about 70deg, this guy used a heating wire wrapped around the injector lines near the head for "cold starts) and a plate heater near the filter etc if i come across any of it i'll share it. considering looking into it again one way or another.

i used to work with a guy hypermiling an early suzuki swift was tailgating trucks on the freeway saving "considerable" fuel ... until a truck flicked up a rock cracking his windscreen. (not to mention the sandblasting of the headlight glass and paint on the front of it.

description in this ad says only 800 were Targa Florios
-
is it a genuine Targa Florio, they had mag wheels that would be extinct even here in Australia i think. there used to be a guy that wrecked them in Melbourne about 20yrs ago(My Dad had a P76 V8 in his Mk1 Transit van, used to buy parts from him)

about 20yrs ago i sold a set of 5 falcon wheels with tyres and a falcon LPG tank, and it all fit in the boot of the P76 the guy picked it up in, seeing 6(including p76 spare) full size wheels across the back was impressive enough, but the gas tank in normal position was the icing on the cake.

Have also Wired the Davis Craig fans into the Lexus loom. And mounted through the Radiator with m4 allthread.
Quotethose electric fans on the front of the radiator in the LS400 i had(1991) were only for when the air con was on, used the clutch fan as a cooling fan.
so if using them for cooling also you'll likely need to add a separate circuit to them unless your later model did it differently. -
