I used to have a Cert for doing CNG and LPG conversions - someone stole it...for the nice frame I put it in I expect.
You can get little compressors overseas where you can plug your car into the mains and recharge overnight. I've still got a Bendini kit sitting under a bench somewhere....
Bring back Muldoon ! We sold our natural gas overseas for a quick buck, he would never allow that !

I got an Airwave - what a sad ride compared to the Volvo 850 T5 - but 6/100km today, compared to the Volvos 9/100km.

With the Fuso V8, yeah. But Gills might've put a Detroit in it.

The Cummins powered Foden - they didn't like that choice of engine.

There's an 850 T5 on TM at the moment for $4500...dreamer, but you never know. And it's only a sedan. I paid $500 for mine...win win.

850 T5's seem to be getting good prices now...and that's good, because I'll be getting out of mine soon. The ultimate sleeper - put on your old man hat and go hunting Boi Racers at night.

There were a couple of Doctor Big 750's that used to flattrack at Rosebank years ago.

The wife has an 07 Stream, not as much load space as her old Expert, but it's 2 years newer and 20 years better tech...uh, too much tech for me. I'm looking at a Fit now, good load space for their size, just a bit worried how the CVT would go towing a trailer. Whatever I get will be slow, uncomfortable and uncool after the 850 T5.

I once converted a MkII Jag to LHD - removed the steering box and idler and bolted in a rack and pinion. The electric pump was bolted to the inner guard. This was sorced from the UK by the owner. An expensive way to go, but someone in the UK is making these things.

Sieken is the best, a bit expensive for a one off...but surely it has other uses...

I'm checking out Funcargo's, because they look like a fun way to carry cargo. Toyota prices off course.
They give my car a 2 star safety rating - shit, I'm gunna die ! Exact same car as this...I wonder if it's safe to drive a car this old ?

I was working on RFL trucks a bit before that pic, when they had the first Fuso's, but the same trailers. First time I jumped in a A Train, reversed it out and parked it, the Foreman asked if I'd driven them before. ''No...are they hard to reverse ?'' He replied that some people found them difficult. That was the best I ever did with one, from then on they were a bit of work alright.

Try is the important word here...if I could I would.

What will go for the lowest price ? The A50, no contest.

I like to wave to sportsbike riders and Harley riders when I'm on my scooter. Sportsbike riders say they wave to everyone....except scooters. Harley riders just don't wave...but hey, some wave to a scooter !

4t, aint got no time for adding oil (cos its so slow)
Fuck 4 stroke 50's, there's no need to speed restrict them, they do that for themselves.

The top rear lights on my Volvo 850 have faded to white, the colour is still there, but the outside is faded. I sand it back and apply all sorts of things...tyre shine, furniture polish, vaseline, it brings them up nice, but not shiny. I've tried clear, but it doesn't last, I'll try a headlamp clear next...but if it doesn't last then I have to sand it off again. Tyre shine takes 10 seconds and lasts 2 weeks.

Zip 50 2T ? I got a red one too. I used it commuting in town, back to a longer run now, so it hasn't been used for a while. It needs a variator fan, but couldn't get one over lockdown...and now after procrastinating for over a year, we have another lockdown. Dedistricted rejeted and stuff, does 80kph downhill.

Drove an old Inter 4x4 once - it had absolutely no lock...pulled out onto a narrow road and didn't make it, 3 point turn to do 90 degrees.

You'll learn. Youth is the time when you store up back problems for your old age.
By all means have a rigid. But FFS fit a sprung seat.
Sprung seat on a rigid is perfect, the bike just floats around under you. Maybe that's why they had sprung seast from new...dunno, I don't think manufacturers ever get it right.
I need a new torque wrench, what's good?

My 1/2 Warren & Brown is about 50 years old too - it was one of the fancy ones with dual range - ft/lbs and that new fangled metric stuff that no one used. Branded Repco. Don't even get into an argument, they are the best. I have a Norbar 3/8 and a Sykes Pickavant in/lb - but apparently Norbar made all the branded clickers back then.
