How's it mate im loving your conversion..... I am currently building a 1978 Austin Maxi with a Toyota Caldina GT-T 4wd conversion complete with suspension conversion too...

I have std spare parts available if you need anything otherwise would be cool be talk to another crazy maxi ownet.

Cheers mate still a bit too new for my liking so could be up for swaps soon but she does tow bloody well and goes hard when I want it to so can't complain really just needs a bloody manual conversion to be cheaper on gas

Here is my donor maxi where she sat for years..

It's going under the grinder in a week or two if anyone is wanting parts I have alot I'm not using.. windows/doors/engines/suspension it's all up for grabs.

Unfortunately a few Chev's Pontiac's and a couple of Holdens didn't make it out of paddock alive and rotted literally into the ground where they sat but sorry no photos as they aren't mine to share..

All depends on the person your buying off mate. I scored a complete dereged ae111 Levin with stuffed shell with good 4age blacktop, 5spd box loom etc I got whole car for $250..

Definitely worth the effort to repair...

I'd be cutting a small hole in the floor as previously mentioned and hammering out and make sure you have plenty of spray on underseal.. underseal everywhere so they don't know where you have been.. and spray in place you never even went so the think it's just had a tidy up.. even go for drive on dusty road to make underseal look old lol.

My sigma is way worse than that but i didn't notice it until they (wof check) had done their thing.. and as stated before by someone else a repair cert now needed to be supplied for my sigma as it been noted on their system..
