  1. Lockdown means no RR time for me. Unfortunately it is stashed 40mins from home so getting out to it isn't advised at this stage. I am also waiting on some gearbox bearings so it has ground to a halt at the moment.

Here is a great period photo I found online of some English chaps doing some cornering tests...

OMG, OMG an Alfa 1750 GTv coupe!!!!

I Love it, even though its rusty (they all are) that is a piece of art sir

Close, its a 2000GTV.  I do love the dash on the 1750s especially that awesome rev counter. A lot nicer dash and cluster than the 2000.

  3. Hey Gang, not sure if this is the best place to post this but I will anyhow..

A buddies 1980 Mk2 Escort got stolen from his lock up on Gregory Rd in the Waitakere. This was John's first car so has a lot of meaning to him. Unfortunately they hadn't been to the lock up for a while so it could have happened a month or two ago and only noticed it last weekend.

    Plate number is: YLDWST

Any info please send me a PM. John Harvey is a legend of a dude and always willing to help anyone out. Hopefully we can get it back for him...

Damn I'd love to rebuild a truck /4wd in similar style using all new or repassivated fastners. So clean. So neat. Such big boys tamiya model building fun.

Such a good feeling putting it back together! Hurts the wallet though.

It is pretty much a big Meccano set though, everything is bolted together
