Hi all, can anyone offer any suggestions for shipping car parts/engines out of NZ?
-
I've got a contact who works out of his home garage, have had some work done by him - Not the best but very well priced. PM me if you want his details.

Thanks
Any other recommendations?

Looking at getting my project repainted - More to factory standard than show standard - If that matters.
I'm happy to strip all the trim, windows, etc myself. But would rather someone, prep, remove surface rust and repaint, etc.
Any good recommendations around Wellington?

Yeah Mate, its a Taipan... I had been looking for a beach buggy, but they are stupid expensive, this thing is insanely good condition/road legal for the money, and its all been done well. Was re registered after being certed as a scratchbuilt in 2013.
Yep, that would be my Taipan. Dropped off at the transporter yesterday.
Sad day for me, but I know its going to a great home. Can't wait to see it's final form!

Is the reason because you have a "shaft" installed radio?
Pyle make a shaft installed radio, you can find them on ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Classic-Car-Audio-Pyle-In-Dash-AM-FM-MP3-Dual-Knob-Car-Radio-Stereo-Head-Unit-/182112468778
I have one at home, still sitting in it's box I think.

Nice project!
I've got a Gen 2 Civic which I just want the engine/booster, etc off if you want to look at taking the rest.
