I'm not a fan of walking around looking like a balloon.

Cant decide weather to ride or drive.
Ride will be nice but I will have to fuck about with all my gear at the other side.

Lol I was on my way to trash palace to try find an electrical cable for the ghetto blaster sounds it now has, only to remember when I got tgere they actually cut power cables off things lol. So instead came back with a sweet old sun umbrella and an even sweeter blue chilly bin to match van. Unfortunately umbrella isnt blue which is dumb. Tip shops and recycle centers are not a good place for me....
I was there at the weekend. First time I've been. Pretty awesome. Tip Shop on Happy Valley sell electrical cables on their own.
Was it the rubbermaid chilly bin? almost bought that myself..bit decided I don't actually need it. Lucky you

What's a jp?

This is awesome. It would be quite exciting to discover a film and get it developed! Maybe it should be split into two threads? One for pictures and one for discussion so all the pictures are in one place.

I might not have to be so quick to dismiss bikes that need revinning in future. I thought you somehow had to prove they weren't stolen etc etc.

Thanks cletus. That's pretty much exactly what I was thinking. To modify the seat to bolt into the existing bolt holes.anything other than bolting it in as per this
http://lvvta.org.nz/documents/suplementary_information/LVVTA_LVV_Cert_Threshold.pdf
needs cert,
and then you would have to comply with this
http://lvvta.org.nz/documents/standards/LVVTA_STD_Seats_&_Seat_Anchorages.pdf
If you adapt the seat to bolt to the original anchorages in the floor, the cert requirements are fairly easy
If you drill holes etc in the body, you will need to make new anchorages, which depending on your skill level, can be quite challenging.

If i bought some seats from another car and fitted them into my van, by drilling new holes into the mount where the rails are attached. Would that be OK?

you only need like 8 hairs to grow a beard, the rest is commitment
There's a guy who I see around in the office who literally has like 5 long hairs coming out of his chin.

Mate, you transported a smelly old car parts in an old vehicle you had just picked up that then broke down causing you to almost miss your ferry, that's oldschool as haha
I never thought about it like that haha.
I only picked up the axle cos I needed a jump from Karl

Definitely come along!
It's worse when you have an old car then turn up in a modern daily which is what I tend to do.
Hopefully not this time though, I have Thursday off so will be there fo sho
Sweet man. The parts arrived yesterday so I can fix my bike up this weekend. I should be able to bring the charger to you!
Cheers Al! I've been touched by the oldschool community and I want to be a part of it. even though I'm not a 100% oldschooler yet. (I can't grow a beard )
