Don't go to vtnz. Ever. They are asshats who have a fail.quota. work used to use them too. I loved making small talk in the waiting room and mentioning loudly about the fail quota. Peoples eyes used to get wide.
I've seen dodgy warrants from vtnz and when I questioned the guy he told me his dodgy mate gave him a warrant and then he went to vtnz to get a reprint the next day so the sticker has a vtnz stamp on it, then offered the car for sale.
Is this even possible?

By you entering into a legally binding contract you must provide your details accurately and to the best of your knowledge ,they will be wanting you to write up the contract on your behalf so you can put the terms and conditions you want into it and submit it directly to them.
This has been a common scam with lower priced goods that is not worth getting a third party involved to deal with documents or cash handling.
Beware , no $ no sale

I could be wrong but it sounds like a identity scam to me , when you pass over your details for the contract you will be opening yourself up to them to do as they please

I would be careful using a 20psi cap , max is 14 psi or 1 bar especially on old components.
Fyi I've seen some MAN trucks run more than 60psi through nylon pipes and when something goes wrong it goes bad quick

Might have come in to possession of 2 landrovers that I would probably look to part out to recover some costs.
Series 1 swb has a holden motor and the series 3 has a ld28 .
Is there much of a market for parts or would I be better to sell complete?
Both are pretty rough and only the series 3 has plates and cert tag, but rego lapsed .
thoughts?

Shot thanks will call them now

Had thought about that but I was concerned about the heat being generated and the oil mist etc deteriorating the panels over time.
-
I have a leiroy compressor with rusty panels ,so I will be folding up some new one's.
It currently has a foam type sound suppressing panels stuck to the inner of the panel covers there about 50mm thick.
They will have to reasonably heat and oil resistant.
Any ideas where I might source this from? Im based in Wellington
Thanks

Collision repair shops get reemed by insurance companies it's enough to keep them a float and no more so I can see why they charge full resprays a bit more

Also i believe with the bunnings deal if you dont return your bottle for a refill every 3 months you lose your deposit.
Can anyone confirm this?
