I will certainly be bringing out my best dad spec safety talk pre ride this weekend.

Bring the spare bikes to the farm and we can have a pre ride jousting session to see what gets chucked on the trailer.

I think it’s still wise having one decent ish/rideable in some way spare bike. Whatever it may be. If you can’t ride manual there’s no better time to learn than on the Motu.

Ah yes. At least no parts fell off on the shake down ride tonight.

Here's my custom built C110 with CBR125 wheels.

I hope Waikato/Auckland can come. But also the TGA crew is down as long as it’s level 2. Even if it just ends up being a smaller group. We plan to come unless we can’t etc etc.

For all those wondering about road access, the CT125 wheelie champ, Dan has been out to Waikaremoana in the last week with no issues. Not exactly on the route this year but hopefully that bodes well for access to the rest of the cape.

Hey guys. I made a video of me hooning the FX125 and gave it a clickbait title. Actually quite cool looking into the history of the road. Managed to find the ‘95 stage maps and the Motu was divided into 2 x 20KM ish stages. McRae won there a couple of times. And Ken Block even has 5 minutes of an NZ vlog dedicated to the time he drove to the Motu in a Ford ranger - went half way over and then back again. Anyway. Inspired me to dig this out and throw it up because I never really used much of this footage. Less than 2 months to go!
