Thanks for the reply .i have the crank driven version 52,can you tell me what the difference is other than the placement of the dizzy of course. still waiting for my account on classic Colt to be activated. I thought that could possibly be the reason but to be honest with how much room there is to see down the back I can't tell if it is the half moon or the head gasket..the oil that is leaking is very fresh. Will look into those links though cheers!

Hey guys about to take the head off my 4g52 (head is leaking oil down the back) So while I'm replacing the head gasket I thought i may as well get the head shaved and raise the compression and get the valves re seated ect and also send the cam away to get reground for a more aggressive set up. Has anyone gone down this track? Would like to know your experience on what you raised the comp to and what sort of level cam was used .also will I have to run a double valve Spring set up?
