Any recommended places to get a better quality paint from?
Where in the country are you?

Send to me. I kinda know how to paint shit.
(See bikes and shit for sale section to find link of helmet I just finished)

What's your paint plans?

Pyramid parts. It's an nz company. But probably get the parts sent to you from overseas anyway.
Have used them before, parts were in stock locally but don't know how they do it now.
Also AllBalls have a huge range and quick shipping.

That reminds me of that old crashed race car that killed the driver, then the tow truck driver, then the guy who bought the wreck, then the wreck was on display and fell down on a few other people and killed them.
More details??????

My CD250 was never in the 'system' but was sold new in nz by a Honda dealership but never registered, so no plate history or anything.
Took to local vtnz that did bike compliance and the guy said sweet as on problem. Just complied it as a "new" import.

I'm on phone so can't reply with a novel, but.
Police no longer do the "letter".
Go to a jp and do a sworn statement that you own it (helps to have a receipt)
If bike is older than 91 no brake cert' required.
If it is newer than 91 brake cert' is needed, HOWEVER, the brake declaration only needs to be done by a competent person, which legally means anyone that can read a vernier caliper.

So, no actual physical progress but.....
While i was in town today i thought i'd go and have an argument with someone at a wof / compliance place just for shits and giggles. Also so i could feel superior to the 'office' people by saying "YES there is such a thing as a Phillips Gadabout and YES they are eligible to be road legal.
BUT, fu*k it all, things didn't go to plan.
Lady behind the counter said 'Oh, maybe you should talk to ***** as he's our motorcycle guy'.
So after chatting to him for 5 minutes and him checking the system and yelling across the waiting area to say "Yeah bro, our system has Phillips Gadabouts on it". He then produced a form which he half filled out and handed to me saying "when ya up and running bring it in so i can check frame and engine numbers match what you write on form and i'll sort ya plate and shit. Oh, and don't worry about lights and shit cos i won't be doing a 'safety check', besides it won't have a battery so it don't matter"
If all goes to plan ***** will be getting very drunk courtesy of me the weekend following my bike receiving plates and reg' lol.

Gas axe in one end until it catches alight, or fill pipe a third with diesel and light.

I've always liked Holden HQ sedan shape more than coupé.
Don't like how the roof of the coupé goes up towards the front.
(Have owned 100+ Q-J-X-Z's but only ever one two door Monaro, and only owned that for three days cos it was ugly lol)
