The 6bd1t swap has been done before. A guy down south done most of them

So if been a bit slack lately new job moving house and what not so the 60 has just been used as a daily with not much else.
I have decided where this is going.
Swap the 2h anchor out for a 6BD1T(pretty much a Cummins 6bt) intercool and up boost and fuel. Goal is 180whp.160hp flywheel is stock
Re gear the diffs to suit 35s and lock the rear(auto locker) Currently on 32s.
Ute chop is a maybe.

If you go 1kz try find a 1kz-t they are out there.
Imo if your going to the effort of engine swaps I'd put in a td42t. They take a real hiding and no head cracking like a kz

That would be so unstable. Mines rolls like a ship in a storm with only 2 inch of lifts. 6-8 would be nasty.
As for rust check the between the seats and doors there is s spot that traps water. Have to lift the carpet.

Today's progress.
Went father into the hub. Swivel seals,bearings and bronze bushes are getting replaced slowly ready for a diff lock.
Only have to open it once this way.
Don't have a lot of picks was covered in shit all day
