The socket you want for the crank nut is 38mm, but 1.5" will work well enough being 38.1mm

Here he is on his PGO at the end of the Motu special stage last year doing a skid while @HighLUX and I were drinking warm, flat Coronas waiting for the rest of the crew. Heaven. 

Defintley need to get a bunch of K's in on bikes to prove reliabilty before this ride, it's punishing on engines / suspension / bumholes. 

Bung / bum hole fizzing so much! 

I am somewhat interested in this scoot.

They do an honest job of keeping the rims off the ground, but little else.

+1 for ceramic heater tap. Has been set and forget fix, except for me not properly clamping the cable.

Does Uterus also have the up and down 50mm offset seat mounts? It looks like some square tube poking out under the seats.

First thoughts on engine swaps is to consider that standard you have the steering box, starter motor, brakes, and both manifolds all jammed next to one another. 

Seen pics of one in UK with SR20 which tilts away from that space and exhaust on the other side. There is also one with CA18 build on UK Lada forum. 

Great find. So stoked to see someone found a 2102, and bringing back to life. Far to cool to let rot away.

I'll also vouch for Ladapower. Lord knows how much of my money Pavel has taken... Also, avoid Ladaway.com like the plague. I had one order come through fine, but my next one never left the shop and I had to go through paypal to get my money back. This is not uncommon according to NZ Lada facebook group.

Disconnecting the GPS on  one was pretty much my next thought. A sorry and unloved GN there at the moment. That, or call it a training exercise.

It's hard to beat Ladapower.com (Arterx on eBay) for this sort of stuff. Top notch seller, and usually a few chocolate treats with your order. Postage can be a bit expensive, but planning orders helps.

Functionally they're very similar and both are designed to be used with the same software, TunerStudio. If you're happy to assemble the board yourself they both look like a similar amount of work.

There is a larger, more established community for MS, and looking through the forums, someone has probably done something within spitting distance of what you want. Speeduino say they are still in development stages, but the FB group and forum are great for resolving problems and getting you going.

I chose Speeduino because it ticks a few boxes for me, and the money I saved up front can offset things like new temp sensors, an SLC Free kit, and buying the wrong damn manifold.

Have mine assembled and flashed, with Bluetooth configured, but not on motor yet. That part was easy, went smoothly. Have a look at the FB group, they're a helpful bunch.

Subtle also works best for winding up conspiracy foamers. Just enough that they think they're clever for spotting it.

Sorry to read about your knee, did mine in a motorcycle accident a few years ago. Hope the recovery goes well.
