He is the manager of Ellesllie, mt wellington and New lynn.
he was very helpful when we were moving around between sites.
Why can we not continue at countdown Mt wellington?
What about count down MAnukau, similar set up. big underutilized car p;ark and a burger king up stairs.

It would be Neal.
But yes I did say at the time, let's write our own risk analysis and protocols then approach animates to see if we can come up with an agreement

It's the animates people that have the issue. Yes the guy complained but it's not the main thing.
At the last meet on the roof after a burger myself and a couple of others went back up stairs. There was a rotary warming up. The CEO and GM of animates had worked late and came out to leave and we're surprised to see the park full of old school. They did not know that we had been using the park .
I spoke with them and put them on to Richie and Neal (I think)
Basicly they have said that having the car meet there is outside of their health and safety standards and they are not prepared to take the risk to have us there.
We did have an agreement with the owner to use the park, but animates have lease on the carpark and therefor it is their responsibility.
So yes health and safety kills the fun again

Will do that today as the low charge beep is annoying me

So connected to the clamps?
Or through the charge plug.
Did you have to have the master switch on so it would charge

We just used to use the battery charger to charge the jump pack
So connected to the clamps?

Hello gents.
I scored a mechpro jump pack. But it has no charger.
It looks like I need a 15v 800ma charger.
I don't have anything close.
What do you think about just hooking my battery charger up to the clamps on the jump pack? My chargers a peak charger so no chance of over charging.
What say you savage

Hyper blade.
Lots of good info there. Thanks for taking the time.
Looks like I'm doing it wrong haha.
The tip on the tyres is a good one. How xo you find out where to get race takeoffs and class usage.
I have chosen a wheel size that has 235/45/17 for ease of Tyre selection. But getting race takeoffs would be great.

Are the bottles the same? If so they won't be able to tell.

Im considering buying a deregistered rare italian vehicle from the 1960s. It has rust, but not so bad in the scheme of things.
Im not scared of the rust but i am scared of getting it reregistered/certified.
Other than the ownership malarkey (which may also be a bit of a thing - has plates and old stickers but no papers and carjam doesnt know about it), whats the story with the repair certification that it will surely require? Im not interested if i have to pay a guy to do the rust work, but happy to have someone review my work.
Who is a good repair certifier to chat with in Auckland, west preferably.
Basically this this a good idea or have i gone quite mad?
I recently discovered that my car is no longer in the system.
Long story short I fucked up.
I spoke to s gent named Duncan about two weeks ago. An old mate did his time under him.
He said that it's $120 for the first inspection. From there a plan will be made as to how to progress forward.
I can't strip it till he has seen it as he wants to be "in charge" of the processes from the start. So he wants to see it pre and post strip. The plan is then made. He will mark out all areas to be repaired
So He did not say it directly but once he was happy with how you work he would be happy with lots of photos to document each repair made.
Total cost was unknown as it would all depend on number of visits and length of report needed etc.
Hope that helps

Not much. Cleans all the crap off but leaves the chrome
The big unit I'm getting should also take off the chrome

I have a regulator in the shed, it's never been used , only fitted to the bottle
Let me know if you get one without a reg.
It's Italian not cheap spec. There's now wiring so no need to worry about the Italian quality

Or just use it out of th e tap. The amount they add to drinking water so so small.

Just fill bucket with water then leave it overnight.
Chlorine is not a stable thing. It gets used up by dirty things and it also evaporate s when left open.

PCC are reasonably active, it doesn't really matter who you join with so long as they are msnz affiliated.
Probably around 1/2 the events I have done are through the club I joined.
So as long as you join any club you can do events at other clubs.

My little BMW is taking a race car direction quite quickly. Wife has said if I want to do events then it has to have a cage. I have no issue with this.
Am building it to run in the Euro classic class and BMW 2.0 class .
I'm keen to join a club once it's going.
Am I correct after looking pukekohe club run more events than Auckland?

Pull the bearings now.
You want the clean blasted steel to stay clean. You will get to dirty when you pull the bearings out. Or if you leave them on the grease will melt in due powder oven.
