Look for a Isuzu elf early 90s they have complete brake and clutch set up that bolts to the firewall with the booster etc ,plus the clutch pedal is vacume assisted as well all in one reasonably compact assembly ,it all sits behind the Speedo in the cab

I owned a few acco s the 555 went well but had a deserved reputation as a bit of a handgrenade but the 3070 with the 903 was a awsme truck in its day , mine had a turbo fitted the sound of it spooling up pulling up a hill was orgasmic

Yes when you have a run of problems that you are never sure if you have fixed them I get this nagging thought ok when is it going to die again

Powertool centre is who we use for work, but it's not coming out of my pocket so never cared about price
are they brushed motors check and see if they're getting low/bad connection that can cause it too and makes for a cheap DIY repair
Brushed and brushless the brushless drill has had a ton of use but the brush disc disc grinders is hardly used

Any recommendations on who to take some battery drills and a disc grinders to for some repairs ( 18v Makita ) I think t's mostly switch problems one drill you shake it to get it to run after pulling the trigger

I believe that one Auckland stripper brought he dip tanks from the Thames Toyota plant a few years ago
-
Had experience with all three
sand blasting pros it removes the rust and every thing else
cons prick to get the media out of evey crevîce and the shit flies out as your painting and unless you got a real patient through operator its so easy to stretch panels won't remove rust in seams
Soda blasting pros environmentally more friendly less likely to warp panels dissolves less mess in every cavity
cons won't remove rust still leaves debris to fly out at the wrong time won't remove rust in seams
Dip striping pros gets in to spot welded seams where potential rust starts I believe it kills rust ( from where I have removed spot wilds to replace panels and seen the pitting where there had been rust forming )
cons can stuff a car if not cleaned out and neutralised properly also removes the original steel coating and sealant
My next project I will have key areas soda blasted ( the rust sticks out like dogs balls ) and etch prime

Its been sitting at a local garage for a couple of years the owner got sick and died
The garage kept the ergo on hold for him

If you decide to go to the jag IFS there is a complete going car here in Wellington its low mileage with rego on hold you could have for 200.00 perhaps 100.00 either take the whole car or strip out every thing you want or could sell off .im sure my mate wouldn't mind you using his yard to disembowel it and load it on to trailer with his digger

First car was a mk1 zephyr, but had lots of cars when young apprentice 64 impala ( pos kept blowing engines bit like my 49 bonus till I put a 332 in it , it had nothing to do with how I drove them) Humber 80 was probably my most reliable car lots of hard case stories I could tell about that car
