If you have a look at Zebra u pick
Zebraupickcarparts.co.nz they may have a good one. For $90 if you can be effed taking it out yourself. And if you do just ask for Ben, he's a good old jolly Englishman, I'm sure he will help you out.
Or try pickapart

I was wondering, what are the home recipies you have used to flush out your radiator at home. I know you can use plain water, but I've heard of people using dishwasher powder and even vinegar. As my Mirage cooling system is rusty as f***.

Thanks Neil but i'm going to be busy for most, wednesdays now.

Yeah I was watching that auction live and it went for $100. The thing that sorta put me off was the fee on top of the purchase price which was $280.
Fuck that........
Im trying to find out who it went to though.

Yeah my green one which yourve seen is manual. The body aint that good, but hey, the gold ones body is immaculate.
-
Im thinking about buying an immaculate 81 mirage with a blowen automatic transmission and converting it to manual with my own manual box from my mirage. Mine is a supershift with the power and economy gearknob also.
Would it be transferable to the other mirage with the supershift part of the transmission?
-
Yeah, cant wait till Wednesday night.

What would the cunt that did all of that get?

Make sure there are no leaks especially in old cars in typical places like where the spare wheel is, and no windscreen leaks, because puddles end up around near the front passenger seat. I even get leaks in my 2001 toyota vitz

Excellent day, it was truly mint. Thoroughly enjoyed myself. Thanks to all the people who let us onto their properties to have a nosey inside their garages. and also thanks to Zebradude - (Ben) who gave us some good hospitality at the end in his shed, and to Threeonthetree - (Neil) for organizing this great event. I'm very much looking forward to the next one.
Cheers guys,
Logan

I'm a bit worried of this talk about cleaning, polishing and vacuuming........ I was sorting out WOFs and Rego's and making sure there was oil in the motor.
I think that is only just me.........................
-
Oh well, Ive been invited by "threeonthetree" thankyou so much
Time to vacuum clean and polish the mirage, and finish the small bits i need to before Saturday so it is looking tidy. That is actually a shit load of work.
Wish I had a shed, but instead it is an old unpainted, untidy, unroadworthy Honda Accord parked on the street full of shit, scrap metal etc etc etc,
and a Kennards Storage unit full up of computer shit. Ya cant even walk into. Time to get my own place and full up the backyard, with old rusty japanese cars and heaps of Holdens.
See yous on Saturday

Things To Flush Out Radiator
in General Car Chat

So I just flush out all the water and put in straight vinegar and let it flow through.
