It's $1300.
Thanks for all the good advice guys, I think now I'll be staying away from the Mondeo. The manual ones are nice too drive and do sound good, I do also like the shape of them too I must admit. But yeah, it's a ticking time bomb especially if it's European crap.
I'll hold off for now, but yeah. I know the great virtue in waiting for the right car too come along. Or I'll stick a towbar into the green mirage and tow with it's 1.2L of supershift power. It can tow up to 400KG's. I just needa do a tow mission to Gisbourne soon.

^^ It's the new 2000s shape. Ugh that 90s one is a monstrosity.

so you are selling the toyota, green death trap and the stella?
That should net you enough to get a good AU.
The mondeo is a good car but with 300000km again you are buying a old car that is nearing the end of its like cycle. Yes it will keep going but im predicting there will always be something wearing out and needing repair.
Just the green mirage.

Yeah Neal, Ive looked at 2 of those. They're more full of rust than the Mirage. But Yeah, they're powerful, plentiful for parts. And if your lucky you'll get one for $600. It would only be for workhorse dutys anyway.

There is a Ford Mondeo ST 2.5L V6 five speed manual for sale in the Waikato. It's the higher spec model.
It's got all the good shit like cruise control, climate control etc etc. And cheap registration at $75 per year.
Other than oil leaks, blue smoke and water pump issues what else can go wrong with them. This one has done about 300,000KM'S.
Just wanting something kinda modern, that's big and has plenty of power.
I'm also thinking about selling my old green Mirage soon too.
Cheers fellas.

My only advice, like above. Would just be too stay away from the autos. But Yeah, even the autos are quite nice.

Started up the old girl the other day. She's running like absolute shit. It's hesitation too go over 60KPH, and the rough running is leading me too a gummed up carburetor. Put some CRC carb cleaner through it, and it helped, but not too much. I'll pull it off soon, maybe before I do the engine work, as I want too drive it more before I take the engine apart.
Other than that, everything in Stellar land is good.

See you all tonight!!!

Once Neil has finished giving this moron a British Leyland Sharn. Feel more than free too throw him into the boot of the Stellar.
I was going too say, then once in the boot pour gas on him and set him alight.
But no.

Mate a tape player this old will probably need it's rubber bands replaced. 90% of issues come down to old worn out and perished rubber bands.

Lol, I would have taken that opportunity so I can't believe I lined myself up for that one
Let me rephrase that... actually no, I have the feeling I'm not going to win this one.
But if anyone is selling a train horn, give me a toot.
Toot toot

Can i hitch a ride with someone or nah? i can't really be bothered driving.
Well let me decide, if i'm coming right up north in the Green Mirage or the Stellar to pickup you up, then your gonna have too chip in for a fair amount of that gas mayte. Shes a pretty big job aye? It will also require me too get outta bed fairly early and be there at around 6AM.
You will also have to put up with my rambling on about Mitsubishi's all day, and "A groovy kind of love" I have for a particular kind of Korean car.

Stellar was launched in 1983, white plates started with "NA" in Nov 86. Plastic bumpers first appeared on the Pontiac GTO in '68, on the Renault 5 in 1971, and locally on the Todd assembled Chrysler Alpine from 1977.
Damn right mate!!!
