I provided a page out of my parts book, where a part changed from 09 '72. That was enough to prove my Mazda was an early '72. They were fine with that.

As a form of ID, for the cellphone example it was one of those sign up for 36 months and get a free iphone type deal.
They'd still need bank details though, as they do for any phone plan. The bank account name and ID name wouldn't match, so obvious failure of the phone store checks. Kinda off topic / unrelated if you ask me.

No way would I hand over my license for you to make a copy. Might as well give them your credit cards too
I quite often take a screenshot of the online banking transaction too

Coworker spent ages dealing with police and debt collection agencies over cellphones bought on finance using a drivers license she had lost.
I hope you keep their information secure, probably not though.
The whole point of ID is to verify ones identity. If the phone store fucked that up then no one is safe lol

Concerned with identity fraud?
Nope.
Concerned about getting ripped? Yes

I always take a copy of their drivers licence so I have their name, dob, etc. I thought that was just common sense.

Damn. One of the rotary foamers listed a mint Series 3 Rx-7 rear spoiler for sale on the Facebook buy/sell/wank page, but I was too sick yesterday to do anything about it and it got snapped up by someone else.
Oh well - $600 better spent elsewhere for now.
My series 3 rear spoiler was just an ugly piece of rubber, hope that's not what you were considering paying 600 for 0R10N!

$15k sounds like a deal for Rammo's car. It's a straight one.
-
It was bolted up to my s5 g box so maybe has a different rear plate? It has normal 12a rotas and seals
Most likely someone changed the s5 box bell-housing to an RX-4 style one. Later 12A steel seals might wear twin dizzy housings as they were designed for much softer carbons.

Can anyone help me out with part 16220, RX-7 S3 gearbox.

That's cheap. Try building one for anywhere near that money.

Hey guys, is there anywhere in n.z that sells oil cooler lines off the shelf? Just looking for a cheaper alternative to getting a hose doctor to make some up.
Someone sells oil coolers on trademe complete with hoses. Maybe ask them

Some rotary content on my website, well almost all rotary actually.

You realise all of these just sold at an auction a week ago for half the price.
The buyer has instantly relisted doubled the price and even used the same description and photos the original seller used.
And the elephant in the room, they're fucked

Oh awesome. Are they going to keep it standard and just enjoy?
Did Era help you with the engine or did you do it with Monsieur Haynes Manuel?
Nope, just did it myself having seen a few done at Eras and watching Lance's rebuild DVD

Hayden had the engine rebuilt by our friend Era at old one racing. It has a brand new e shaft I helped him source among other bits so it should be pretty good for a while. I don't think the car has much rust but what repairs it had will need checking.
Rebuilt this one myself actually.
Cars gone to a good home, a Father & Son went halves in it.

Always been hens teeth, never sold here
-
It must be pretty rust fucked if they're not willing to repair for added pennies on sale and are selling up asap.
I have an RX-3 that has been flagged for rust when it's cleaner than most NZ cars
-
If you look at it from the rear quarters back, it looks spot on. The japs don't have a one angle philosophy, they look at the car from all angles to build an overall form which I think makes the coupes sublime

Chucked some trademe lowered springs and lowering blocks in. Borrowed the wheels off my RX-3. Tram track much??

Naa, same place although it smells a lot less now
Need to put wags up for sale to fund legal bills with next door

Late reply eh, brakes were fucked. Shoes down to the metal, cylinders leaking. Started to smell them as we came into Duds. It's not oldschool if you don't set out in an unknown condition.
Rotary piner thread.
