I may not have access to funds for a larger block, no. But I do have plenty of years in my life ahead of me, and im going to build this thing using them. Besides which, it isn't a full time project; more of a 'I have half an hour to kill, might as well finish that last weld on my shock-mount' kinda project. Being 18, I reckon ill get this machine built because I have plenty of time and years to do it

and i enjoy my own work more than anyone elses work, i trust it more. plus my father can help as he built a space-framed humber 80 chassis for speedway back in the 70's

Mods to them (can be brief or detailed): Straight-piped exhaust without a tip and a modified carb (standard laser 0-100 = 15s. my laser 0-100 = 7s )

i also have a 1.6l Ford crossflow engine im stripping down and rebuilding, and i intend on fabricating a Mk-1 Escort Space-Frame chassis for it and using it as a rally car -

I recently decided I would strip down an old engine that had been sitting for an unknown amount of years and rebuild it. Unfortunately I have been unable to find much information about it. As far as im aware its a 1600cc ford crossover out of a mk1 cortina. Any information would be very much appreciated, thanks
