so sweet. concur, wheels and springs at the most. maybe a tissue box on the dash, mint imperials in centre console and a nail box in the boot with faded newspaper, sand shoes and a de-labelled schweppes bottle of water in it.
even the wack speaker grilles are superbly wack
amongst these, a Peter Blake era America's Cup bumper sticker (i will also accept 1974 commonwealth games new zealand as an alternative) and sheep skin drivers seat cover. Also an obsolete "change oil and filter at 80xxx kms" sticker from Gavin's Autos in Te Awamutu would go really well in the windscreen

went and explored the old waimiha sawmill in the king country. was well out of the way, gravel roads and some backwards looks from local barrys but shit it was cool. think it shut up shop in the 80s, and everyone just walked off and left it to rot. here are some pics.
this one appeared to be the office building. still had paperwork strewn all over the place, audit paperwork etc on the desk
bout an hours drive from te kuiti, on a back road from Benneydale to Taumarunui. heaps of history behind it, one of the biggest mills in nz in its heyday and used to cut logs with about 15ft of girth crikey
there were signs saying it was private property and strictly no tresspassing, but there was a number on the sign to arrange viewings. nats 2017?

inspection-less revin? discuss!

your last vid doesn't sound too bad.
how many clips does the needle have? I found on my bike (mikuni 20mm carb) when I raised the needle one below middle, it took a while for throttle to engage, there was nothing at 1/4 and very little 1/2 a throttle. however stock jet so it might be different to your set up. I guess like most 2nangers just plug chop until satisfied.
do these jets fit all mikunis? I have a vm24 I need to upjet for my gp125, wanna flick one or two off? -
how do you go about running LED's and all that jazz off a 6v system? would like to retrofit some better 12v stuff to my little bikes

i run one of those chambers for my ax100, they have a pretty good power increase. and a really easy design to work with the bike.
The length of your header will change the powerband, ol' mate has probably discussed that, so if you went for a moto-x style header and chamber above the engine results may vary.
one of those AX pipes on your bike will be fine, they have similar specs. bump it up a jet size and perhaps a colder plug and you'll be away

Nothing i can really do, neither can the police by the sounds. Got a quote this morning for 280+gst to redo the rear quarter and blend door and bumper etc so not as bad as i thought. Still a shit load of money for a student to pull out of nowhere. Next step is probs a camera somewhere up the drive

thanks spence.
my thoughts exactly, considering how tidy i had kept the it and the owners before me. -
Not really the post i want to be making, but may have happened to someone on here.
So between last night and 4pm some chutney ferrit poured paint stripper on my car. dont know why, how, or when, i have no clue where to even begin. my guess is some little hoodlum who raided his dads shed and wanted to use some of his meth ingredientsis an old 5series e34, luxorbeige colour, no doubt been discontinued and will have to be matched.
by the time i had found it, most panel and paint places had shut up shop and too hard to explain over the phone, so im wondering if anyone knows what will be required to fix this.
just the quarter panel, or full respray? and any other tasks involved. id assume it needs to be sanded or bogged.
if any panel beaters on here have a rough guestimate on the price, that'd be cool. just so i know what im in for. will take it into panel beaters on monday for a proper look but just wanted to know what im dealing with in the mean time.
thanks in advance -
that would have been epic. will have to wait for the next wellington ride to see you cats in action.

well deserved, their perspex magneto covers were genius.

Ok so me and another dude are gonna make an appearance here on our AX100's. Can we make a a sweet oldschool contingent?
-
potential /ling here but why does wheel not rotate when it idles? being auto i assumed it always spins if it can, or is it something to do with the new rollers?

anyone else gonna bring their bike? kinda like seedy's idea haha

you will experience slight guard rub on both front and rear with 3.00x17's. Michelin make a good tyre for them in 2.75, around $100 a pair
-
still auto-lubing though? how much $$ etc?
does one drain the existing oil in the tank when changing oils? will it react or anything of that nature. I was told in my motox days never to mix two different 2t oils if they were different colour, could well be a wives tale imo -
wasn't sure if there was a thread covering 2 stroke oil yarns so I have fabricated a purpose built discussion.
coming up to topping up my GP, what does everyone use in their small capacity motor vehicles?
Ive been running the trusty Castrol 2t, does the job but not a lot more.
elf or motul seem like good quality options, more concerned with how long it lasts. currently burning thru Castrol surprisingly quickly.
how many 2t commuters on here? care to share their thoughts

+1 for elf, expenny but worth it. I think motul you can get for around $25 a litre, unsure if your premixing or not but some of it tends to be for premixing only rather than autolube.
this is so awesome though, unbelievable speeds for a 50cc!
