flexi vibrator?
never seen the filter setup, be good to get a filter on mine, couldn't work out why it wouldn't start one day, plug was hitting the piston.
how come those two motors are joined together? twice the horsepower?
-
is there not a way to get the 6 stud ute axles down to 4 stud mitsi? what do they do to the hilux diffs in corollas etc? I was pretty keen one day to make a jig to shorten L200 diffs into sigma size

haven't done a single thing to this since i moved apart from put a pile crap on top of it. need to buy a new oil pump\front cover for my vr4 block my other two have had bits through them I'm guessing. keen to keep this looking standard as on the outside but with a few neddies under the bonnet, been looking for a set of standard 14" sigma wagon steelies but can't find any.

brought a fzr1000? alternator for $30 was wondering how i could join the two together for cheap. don't try to use garden hose btw

Before you start swapping mounts over check that the L200 centre won't fit in the stock housing. When I was diff hunting for my EX lancer back in the day there was an unconfirmed rumour that L200 ones fit
have herd that may work on the early L200 diff nugget into sigma wagon centres , also have never seen a old model L200 with an lsd.
FYI your wagon should have the stronger 'ten bolt diff'

car dealer once told me to use brake fluid. i wouldn't however recommend it on paint.

they must have so much patience those painters, what a skill to have.

i may be guilty of painting at least 3 sigma wagons satin black with chopped springs.yes keep it out of the rain, undo the front guards and take all the road grime out from behind the bottom of the guards (rust trap)

seen the same model as yours in station wagon , towing a double horse float up coromandel . looked mint and it was quite low, unusual towing combo. good luck with yours,

cool haven't quite finished welding it yet, so can clean out the bits as much as possible, maybe get my father in law to give it a quick sandblast aswell cheers for the ideas guys
-
im guessing there will be little bits of wire or slag stuff in there its been mig welded, good idea with running it without turbo on.
-
Hi there, I've welded up a few sets of extractors in the past, but I'm making a turbo manifold and was wondering about all the shit inside the manifold dropping off and going through the turbo (if there is any)
has anyone had issues with this?
do i need to get it sand blasted etc inside?
or do i slap it on and just run it hoping any small crap will just go through?
am i just worrying about nothing?
motor is 4g63 twin cam with evo4 turbo.
cheers

cortina has a good 2L and 5 speed that my mate wants, he is restoring a mk3 gt. and another friend has a mk1 escort so the van may have some useful bits. plus they're only just down the rd, would never restore just pillage a few bits off.
