Hi everyone.
I own an '84 Bluebird which currently has a FWD CA18E Auto in it.
I really want to convert this to a manual, but unsure whether to buy a manual gearbox if possible to fit it to the current motor, or buy an already manual motor.
So a couple of questions:
Which method will be the easiest/most cost effective?
If I were to buy another whole motor, what models would bolt straight in?
Would converting to manual be worth it?
Cheers

Thanks for your help. It turns out the cable has stretched somehow, so I added a spacer and it works again, atleast until i can find a permanent solution.

I was driving today and while pressing the clutch down to move up to third gear it sounded like something broke, a sort of knock noise. It wasn't a violent knock, just soft. So now the clutch pedal feels loose, and it will not go into gear easily or at all, my dad had to do some sort of gear rpm timing maneuver to change through the gears without having to engage the clutch so we could get home. So I know it is probably nothing to do with the gearbox, and maybe with the clutch kit. The problem is I dont know where to look for parts that may have broken. Does anyone know what may have happened and how it can be fixed?
Thanks
The car is a KE20 with a 4k motor.

Hi all. I am a complete amateur when it comes to tyres... I bought a ke20 corolla with a full set of Yokohama tyres, which the person I got it from said that he purchased them for over 200$ each! I am planning to sell them because frankly, they are too wide for my little 4k motor to handle. Here is a picture of them http://www.imgur.com/MBi0TNM
The two fronts are P215/50r13 and the two rears are P235/50r13
They are in really good condition with over 90% of tread left on them.
If anyone could give me a guideline on how much I could expect to sell them for that would be great.
Thanks
(The reason I didn't put this in the for sale thread is because I'm not able to sell them yet so didn't want to mess anyone around)

Hello this is my first question of what will probably be many to come for my KE20.
To make a long story short, my ignition chamber has crapped out and need to know how to set up a series of toggle switches and a push switch in order to start. I have searched Google for wiring schematics and other forums etc. but I'm still not 100% sure on which wires to connect to the toggles.
I want to have them set up so that they replicate the ignition: one switch is acc, the next is engine power(?) and then push button to wind the engine. I have managed to get the steering lock disabled, so that is not a problem.
Sorry if I'm not being clear enough but if you need more info or pics let me know and it would be great if you could help me out! Thanks in advance
