Hey ajg193 nah it doesn't. I always planned to put a brace back to the block but haven't got around to it at this stage. I'm not really worried about the bolts more the fact the turbo manifold might Crack but being such a thick wall I guess I thought I'd leave it until something happens.

The basic run down on the fab of the manifold was the elbow and stub was arc welded with ss rod inner and outer to the main plate then that was machined flat. Then rest of manifold was welded.
The two lower elbows turn inwards towards each other to form a collector which a piece of 75mm pipe was welded on top. Then that was welded to the turbo plate which was then machined flat (turbo is single scroll) then a elbow welded prior to the turbo for the Wastegate

Time now for the exhaust manifold!
First off I got the plates cut from 16mm thick 304 stainless steel. Then ordered some s40 bends and some pipe
Reason I went steam pipe stainless instead of mild steel was the fact rotarys run hot. They also create a lot of moister and a mild steel manifold wouldn't last. I've experienced it. The cost initially is more but in the long run it pays off
So I started playing round and ended up with this. Something a bit different and it's probably not the best performance wise or functional but I like it!
Before you ask yes it clears the bonnet

So I started putting stuff back in. Pretty sweet feeling! Got a new brake master and clutch master. Had issues getting the brake master in nz so I ended up buying one from the states..only issue being for left hook. It's ok though because I was going to run new front brake lines anyway due to the tubs
Also brought a Gilmer belt drive kit!
