Get 2 swappa crates and make it into 1 sealed box run a caulking gun down the edges to seal it up and put your sub in it. Have done similar for storing tools in but always thought it would make a cool sub box.

Dont think you need reverse lights, we have never run any on the work ute and it has never been a problem, maybe its like high stop lights, if they are fitted they need to work?

If it all goes shit shaped you welcome to take the Rolla but there are way more ballin cars out there. I spoke to the Hot Rod club and they hooked me up last time.

Get all the time by people between 20-30 "oh I had one of these in high school, miss having a car I can rev the shit out of they go so hard". The old ladies love it too had one particular friends grandma who now knows me as 'your friend with the cute yellow car'. You drive a normal car for a week and realize how much you miss an old car, its shit.

Cheers for the advice, took the setup for it first proper test today from Hamilton to Rotorua and it worked really well, was picking up heaps of chatter on channel 11 so its a sucess. Was thinking how much of a difference does aerial length make to radio performance? At the moment I am at the approx 1.1m mark but maybe will go bigger.

Allright thread ressurection I have always had a Uniden UHF in the rolla which a proffesional helped me install out of bits they had lying around. Although it worked really well there isnt many people rolling around yarning on UHF's apart from the four wheel drivers so brought an identical uniden radio but CB. For an aerial I found one lying around home about 1.1m long and bunged that in the base, how do I tune the length of the aerial for maximum range? Also what are the usual channels for yarning on?

Would anyone in the Hamilton area have a guard roller that I could borrow sometime in the next couple of days? Payment can be of the liquid variety.
Cheers
