Hey what grease did you use for the door mechanisms? The doors in my 79 Corona are really jammy and i think i need to sort that

Yeah there are efi 3ts and I do know of one being wrecked at the moment actually but it's a sedan and I have a wagon so I will have to see if there is a difference between the two

I swear I have seen a thread in the tech section but can't seem to find the info. What I'm wanting to work through is a carby to EFI fuel tank mod. I have a tt132 Toyota corona that originally came with a 3t carby and a 2jzge with individual throttles is about to sit in its place so I'm wanting to mod my fuel tank so I can run an Intank fuel pump.
From memory you use the fuel pump cradle etc from an EFI tank but has someone got the "how to" info on it? I watched a 40 minute YouTube video last night of a guy doing it in his cosmo but I don't need to go that hard out.
Thank you ahead of time for any one and everyone that can help a brother out.

So many lols looking through these pics. A very young Grotty, falcon in the Riverbank car park would always be crab walking across the carpark at night. I used to DJ for Fevah and heaps of people in the car scene were into dance music / hardhouse. Then seeing all the Lawton Rotorsport cars that i grew up around. Jeremy who built that Gemini is still around buy is into Yank Tanks now. This was all back in the day where ke70 sedans were cheap, on cutties, were painted in pastel colours and all had rotors.

Awesome! Not this one by any chance? It was previously gloss black. I remember it swinging Os across the road from maccas 5-8 odd years ago.
They're definitely loads of fun to drive

Nah i had the coupe like yours. I owned it years and years ago so who knows what scrap yard it ended up in haha

TD Gemini? I havent seen one of those in years!! I remember picking one up In Kapiti when i was younger and threw a 12a at it like most young people do with old school cars in Kapiti haha. Such fun little cars!
Mine had rust around the boot seal and a little bit in the firewall

I have been caught out before, There is a plug that goes into a relay of sorts in the kick/shin panel under the steering column. Make sure everything is plugged in.
I had a good look under there and everything looked good. I pressed everything to make sure it was all good but thanks for the heads up Chris. Alot of times on these kind of issues its always the little things that count

The electric windows in my partners 1994 subaru impreza have stopped working. There is no fuse for them and i replaced the master switch in the drivers door and nothing has happened.
By scrolling through the internet and seeing other subaru owners with the same or similar problem it seems that the relay for the electric windows needs to be replaced. i have found three relays next to the internal fuse panel but dont know how to test them to see which is faulty. Nothing is labeled and if it is its all in Japanese.
I want to be able to fix this issue and then sell the car on as it just costs me too much money.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

So i got carried away and brought some things from driftmotion.com. A bit of a rookie error on my part as i got stung $150 ish in freight from the states and then i got hit with $140 in duty when it came into the country so this radiator shroud and a few other little bits i brought now have turned into expensive parts but hey its all a learning opportunity.
I am VERY happy with the quality on the shroud and fans to say the least though MISHIMOTO!!!

Evening Everyone,
Today i got up to all sorts and the pics will reflect that. I also dropped my AE86 Powersteering crossmember to Spire Fabrication in Kapiti last week to do the mod that Sheepers has done. 40mm box tubing at either end and had it cut down on the ends to fit my chassis rails. I pick that up next week so im looking forward to getting that back and bolted into the chassis. The box tubing is to help drop the JZ down a bit as it is a really tall engine and it also helps sort the suspension geometry as well.
Love this bottom radiator support. The more i look the worse it is. Massive steel plate on the front and underneath there is another steel plate and heaps of bog!
Brought some s14 adjustables and they pretty much bolted straight in. I will be using a full nissan front hub assembly, s14 lower control arms and rxt 4 pots so its a bit of a mongrel
Also took some measurements as the 2JZ fits in the engine bay JUST and i cant run radiator fans so i am recessing the firewall to give me some more room to play with
Then i pushed it outside so that i could air out the garage from all the grinding smoke etc. Man its a pig thats for sure!!!

Had a chance to get into the garage again today. I got more carried away with tidying the garage then i did working on the car but i still got some stuff done. I wanted to drop the sway bar to see what kind of room i would have with the engine as the sump sits on the sway bar currently and then i realised that the caster arms and sway bar are all mounted up to the same thing so i ended up removing it all.
Sump sitting on the sway bar in this pic
Removed all of this. Will have to make some custom mounts for the caster arms
Front end is pretty empty
I put the radiator in to have a look at clearance and have market out what sections i need to remove. The whole bottom radiator support panel is going to need to be replaced as it is full of rust so i will end up having quite a bit of room.

BOOM!!! I love wagons and this will be an awesome toy too! Looking forward to following the progress.

How much "massaging" did you have to do in the gearbox tunnel to fit the R154? I aim to run a R154 in my tt132 corona and was wondering how much clearance there would be?

I have found the love for building car so time to sink some coin and get stuck into the wagon again. Slowly collecting parts and getting back into it. I really need to sort a gearbox out so i can look at clearance in the tunnel and firewall. No clearance up front to run radiator fans so recessing the firewall 80-100mm seems like a good idea to me.

Well i havent updated this build thread in over a year and not much has changed really. Well i sold my wheels, sold the 2jz, sold my coilovers and sold the corona rear end too. The rear end now sits on a s13 subframe (not mounted yet) with plans to run s13 hubs, knuckles and adjustables up front.
I have wanted to get another 2jz for a while now so i can start playing around with mounting things and then this turned up on trademe for $700!!! Deregisterd but all i wanted was the engine. Managed to pull the engine out last Saturday and on Sunday a guy from palmy turned up and took the rolling body away for $550 so i was really happy.
Playing around trying to put the 2jz into the corona
So i picked up a 1ggte radiator for $200 recently and have that a go. As you can see there is NO room to run fans here and on closer inspection i may end up recessing the firewall to get some better clearance up front.
The other thing is that the sump sits on the sway bay so i will re think things and may run a custom swaybar setup
Thats all for now.

I love this wagon and i was tempted to buy it from James too. Such a shame that the engine is a pig. I know he had issues with the 1g as well!

I have found a 2JZ-GE that i am keen on in the deep south (im in Wellington) and i tracked it down through a facebook group. Now, im not willing for cash to change hands unless i know it is legit. Is there anyone that can potentially go and have a look at this motor on my behalf so i know it is all kosher?
Appreciate any and all help.

I had a civic twin core one on the turbo Corolla. Radiator was a perfect fit what I needed and it stood the test of time. I was quite surprised

Hey mate, that's looking pretty tight in the engine bay. I'm doing the same swap at the moment with my tt132 wagon. The engines look like they mount quite high off the crossmember. How did you find that?

Wow i havent done anything on this car in so long. In the last 18months i have had reconstructive hip surgery, reconstructive ankle surgery and next Friday im having reconstructive shoulder surgery. Im 31 and falling apart!
Anyway back to the car... so i sold my 2jz and the adjustables etc as my surgeries have been through the public system as ACC are a pain in the ass so ive had to sell parts to pay bills etc during my recovery. I have managed to get yet another 2jz and the plan was originally to go 2jzge+t but now i am staying NA and have a manifold being built at the moment to run individual blacktop 4age throttle bodies. Manifold is being built by Simon at Max Fabrication. He does awesome work!!!
My wagon is currently at Spire Fabrication in Paraparaumu upside down on a Rotisserie. The S13 Silvia subframe is being mounted as we liaise with Andy Smith of Smith Autos in Levin who will be doing the cert
