  1. It's official - motor, trans, rad and exhaust has been now sold with pick up in Sept. I have put a deposit on a 351c in parts, so bring on the next phase (excuse the distant pun). This set up comes with $5K plus of receipts for parts and engine work and was removed due to a 393 crate motor. 351c block 2v closed chamber heads with 4v 220m intake valves, upgraded springs etc Weiand 7516 intake mani port-matched to the heads ARP bolts Comp fuel pump New MSD ignition Plus loads of other cool bits as he is having a clear out. I'm hoping to buy his 2 x 9" LSD heads and axles too. I also just ordered a new lower lip as seen in the last pic on that cool Falcon (not mine) Did I mention that it's now 4 speed top loader time...well, when I can afford one that is haha.
  2. I'm about to list my 4.1L (250ci) 6 cylinder motor for sale in order to make way for my 351c build. Motor, auto BW 3 speed (slips in reverse), mint exhaust, radiator, alt, coil, dizzy carb - all sold together.   4. We have rear slammage 4” reset leaves no 2” blocks anymore. And short Koni struts. as per the photos suck to load so they might come through as singles. Im so needing to roll the guards now haha
  5. My nice set of 12 slots got a bit of a polish today.
  6. I purchased 2 rear door chrome trims and now I’m on the hunt for the fronts. I also painted above and below the indicator black as it was woefully faded
  7. Leaves are out and will be off to old mate to flatten them out. New shocks ready to go in and I guess I best order new bushes for the hell of it now and paint the components.
  8. Met a couple of mean rides today at cars and caffiene today at Mt Smart.
  9. Once both sides are in, I can let the car settle and then see where I net out. The super low kings are for 6cyl and the old Dobi sports are the same height but substantially thicker. Potentially worth me hanging onto them as they could sit the car spot on when a v8 is added. or I just just the correct v8 springs when I need to. auto is slipping in reverse and I need to see where I can adjust the bands on an old Borg Warner auto - if anyone knows holla
  10. So I cracked into slamming the car - first stage is the front. Dobi sports appear to be LOW and the shocks were the original Ford ones 50psi S years old. Absolutely shagged too. New super low kings and short konis in - one side down and one to go later today. having trouble loading photos here as per usual….
  11. Got a shipment of new rear amber tail light lenses. In they go! Guess I need to get the red lenses now… I also got super low front springs and some chrome door lock knobs too. Those don’t screw in so I may need to drill the centres out a touch to make them work.
  12. Mini update Super low king springs en route, along with some new amber rear lenses and new chrome interior door lock pulls. I will replace the front springs and put in the new short Konis - then I can measure the rear and get the leaves reset accordingly. I am currently working a deal less tyres with this set of super-rare 14X8 SS Cragars now (rears are a hectic as reverse dish). I may just look to swap the rears for 2 standard 14x8 SS Cragars OR I do have the option of cutting the diff/using an old Mustang 8" diff, as they are shorter. There is never a dull moment here...
  13. I forgot to mention the WOF guy mentioned. that the lower linkage to the trans (base of the box) needs a new bush. That should really tighten the shift action. schloppy
