No they have been retrimed black damit, im currently stripping the black vinyl spray off the door panels what a shit of a job.

Maybe some thing will turn up one day or I may try get them retrimmed in something similar to the photos you have put up.

Yea my car is nz new ill have to check what month it was first registered in 75.just need to get me the tan interior now hint hint.

Just spoke to Brian regarding tail lights, dash etc, the NZ new 75 savanna was basically the last of the models sold to NZ, 9 came into NZ identical to my interior, just tried to jazz them up a little, by going to the tan interior with black dash etc, keeping with the square gauges of the earlier super deluxe and also keeping the round tail light configuration, they moved the fuel pump to under the passengers rear guard like the rx2 series 1. Which I also have the original box and mounts out of it that Brian gave me. So I guess it's different from the black, but more important I guess it's even rearer, but only if you like the tan, I myself prefer black. So one day I may die it, will see how it goes . So it seems like a last ditch attempt to get rid of them into the market before oil crisis appeared. I guess at the end of the day it's what each prefer all black and black/tan. You know my thoughts

Well that explains a crap load about my car,its a 75 ,it has tan hoodlining and door panels that have been sprayed black also the fuel pump is under the l/r guard with original mounts,also has a savanna front bar.it also had the holes for the fender mirrors in the front guards.

Dont dye the brown i will quite happily buy it off you or do a deal with my interior.

Good to see another genuine one being kept original,no turbo and big wheel shit.I so want that interior mine was originally a brown interior but someone sprayed it incl the hoodlining.

Crazy question my 3 was from chch and was painted a similar colour to yours in the late 90,s and was also revinned around the same time just thought you may have known of it.

I used Gypsies rubber kit on my coupe they are perfect and if you contact him direct it not badly priced and the more you buy the cheaper it becomes.

Phills a bit heavy on the freight charges and the stuff has got a lot better but still not perfect.

That car was not built by Johnny it was built by me & my brother we also did the green for door sedan that lives in Wanaka,if you want to know anything about either of these cars just let me know.

they are only good for the odd part. 

all the floors are like a swamp.

 

but if you do want them and your local its easier to go see them as they will try sell stuff for moonbeans over the phone.

Do you know how much they want for the rt40?im in the south island so its a bit difficult to go see them
