Hi Guys, I Just got this engine, Its a 1946 Jowett car engine, 7 or 8HP Flat twin,,, It will go into a motorbike if it will fit!!! Yes its crazy but a one of a kind I would say.... Or build something else.. Ideas anyone? Motorbike or trike?? Ev pictures

nice, bet she goes well, I'm thinking of doing the same with another rotary hoe engine, made by the same people. I'll keep a look out for a gearbox and frame,, need this done before next year LOL....

Hey there, think your right, it would look really good in a board track race bike, but instead of direct drive it will have a pre unit, cant wait to get this started... And I got this off my mate, was close to buying one of them Howard eights off TradeMe but gave up in the end. Ev

what the bike will look like with a lot of mods, it won't be the same..

one of them would be nice, what do they range from in price? could make a one quite easy.

That's the gearbox I need, I just need to find one,,, the engine will need new rings and maybe main bearings.

Hi all, I have a vintage 1940s V Twin 810cc Howard engine I want to put in a motorbike!! I need to know what type of frame to use, and gearbox, the engine is big and heavy, and low revving, only 1500rpm at max, but there very torque'y engines, even though there 8HP. what is the best bet? Build a frame or do some modifications to an old frame? I need ideas...... hope someone can help, I've always wanted to do this with one of these engines. Ev
