Hey mate nice build. Love the e15et engines... I had a milano that always cut out and stopped running when it warmed up but i deeply regret selling it.

Yeh Ive thought about it but realistically I need something to do my license on too o cant justify spending the money.

Bike is for sale now, I made a new cover for seat it looks sweet. Unfortunately I fried some of the wiring today Ive had enough if it now.

Quick update... I got a little freaked out when people started saying that i have shitty un tuneable carbs and done some research.
It turns out running a stage 3 jet kit from Dynojet is the only way to run pod filters and a 4 into 1 exhaust, the main jet in there now is 160 compared to the 97.5. Runs like a champ now! The kit also required drilling out the breather hole in the slide a little larger and replacing the needle.
I guess I should have taken photos of the process but I was far to eager.

The mrs had a Nissan Pulsar Milano X1 Turbo, not very fast but very nana spec and quick enough to make people confused at the lights haha.
I had one too and regret ever selling it.

No gloves, dip it in paint? No worries bro.
Enamel even... must of been a bitch to get off!

Did it pass?

Been reading up on GSresources and they recommend a Dynajet 3 Stage kit and decent quality pods so that's what ill do.

Thanks for the info guys!
I pulled the float bowls off and the jets in there are marked 97.5 and the jets you can see when you take the air box off are 150 so it has to be changed..
I am dead against putting in the factory set up again haha.

Shit, I wish someone told me that earlier.

Boring update time... All together minus seat and battery box.
Bike is running but bogs down at around 6k rpm, im guessing shit in the carb jets
Ill try and upload pic later.

Fuuuuuccckk I hate wiring. Should have taken detailed pics of everything i unplugged haha.
Anyway here's a couple pics. Pretty much all there to finish just waiting on air filters and fitting everything.
stupid big original headlight had all the excess harness bunched up in it what to do with it now?

Seat looks sweet!!! Is that still the aluminium seat pan? how does the underside look?
-
Tyre hitting frame :/ I didn't really think that through but it is on softest setting and there's still clearance when I bounce on it.
Always an option to upgrade suspension

That braid stuff looks sweet!

Twist then solder covered with heat shrink is best IMO but a pain if you want to change something... Failing that bullet connectors is what id recommend because its easy.
Spade connectors are shit, just going by how easy they are to pull apart (think speakers in a parcel tray).
Up here we have Snow bros auto electrical that has all electrical stuff, so if you have a shop like that in ChCh id recommend that, otherwise jaycar?

Ultra-sonic cleaner would be the best way, failing that de-greaser and a wire brush.

Good progress, looks better with the few mods you done to the headlight area.
