Hey mate, im a bit late to the party with this but I just got work done on my daily by DNA auto and he is a top bloke.

Cheers mate. I think I'll go to abrasive concepts and full noise for some smaller ali parts. 

I did look up a powder coater but can't remember the name just that it was close to abrasive concepts. 

I've got a 2k+ Bill coming in for my daily so I don't think I'll be getting much on my projects in a little while...

Spent the day messing around with my 125. 

Finally got it to throw a spark with new coil, points, condensder and spark plug.

Chuck some fuel through and nothing. Check carb and it's dry, strip rebuild and replace and it leaks fuel from every where it possibly can! 

Despite this I did get it almost turning over and it chuffed a bit of smoke but I'm still annoyed. 

Might look at getting a new carb.

Does anyone know what a 70's Suzuki gt750 is worth? Also known as the waterbus.

Tbh I've done all my wrenching with a warehouse set of spanners which have stood up to the task with some serious abuse. Nothing like day to day in a workshop tho.

I'm clearly to young to know yellow plates existed...

I'd definitely write a letter requesting to use that plate!

Snorkpipe is right. I flicked through the book again and found another page with the spec. Seems weird like why would they have two different specs in the book

Yea pic was just for reference. That is a crazy amount or stretch tho. 

I'll have another look tomorrow, it's kinda hard to measure it properly without removing... 

I'm a bit worried about the strength of the chain at the connection tho... would be 100x easier than pulling the cases apart!

The manual says if the distance between 21 pins exceeds 128.9mm it means a replacement chain... I guess I'm splitting cases. 

Just out of interest how much do you think you spent on it? not inc purchase price..

Stripped the frame down completely and some other bits for sandblasting. Hopefully getting it done soon. 

Not sure what to do about the id tags on the bike... cover or remove for blasting?

Not looking forward to putting this all back together because I don't have a garage.

I think when I get my bike done/summer my wife and I will do the courses. (lord knows she needs it :D)

Agree, get something LAMS approved even just a cheapie and get as much riding in as possible. 

Those packages seem real expensive, don't ride forever do courses for $50 or less?
