dont suppose u could tell me where most of these earths would be on my cortina? also with the headlights only being really dim on low beam would this be a result of a bad pair of bulbs?

Right so when i turn my headlights on in my mk5 cortina the left indicator stays on and doesnt flash without me having to even turn the indicator on via the switch. However it works fine as it should when the headlights are turned off, also the indicators flash alot faster when i use them with foot on the brake at same time. Also when my headlights are turned on low beam they are overwhelmingly dim, to the point where if there was no street lights you would have to use high beam if to see anything ahead... Any ideas on solutions to these problems would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
