Names: Oscar, Yoshka and Euan
Location: Waiheke Island

How would slammed cars fare in Waiheke? Sorry if that is a daft question but for some reason I imagine Waiheke is a lot of dirt roads interspersed with a few paved roads.
The roads out the other end are pretty shocking had a mates lowered shuttle here when we moved and bottomed out a few times but otherwise pretty similar to roads out west which is algood haha
How sketchy is the ramp onto the ferry.
Volvo's are cool, gotta be heaps slam though.
/go look at Eddie kilbanes volvo thread.
depends what ferry you get haha the worst one is about curb height and you have to reverse on which is shit
damn that eddie killbane thread is epic! definite inspiration

A month ago Euan moved over to Waiheke island to live with me and Oscar and brought over his 1986 Volvo 240 GLE. we've all talked about how dope it would be to stance a 240 but finding adjusties or even wheels that fit 5x108 are such a mission. but it was always the idea that one day it would happen.
Me and Oscar were looking for a car since we moved here 6 months ago but never found the right one. until 2 days ago.
A 1987 Volvo 240 GLE came up on Waiheke trading and the next morning the owners were pleased to take $300 cash
so we went for our first Volvo cruise on the island...
Our one doesnt have a wof or reg due to rust but hopefully we can suss it soon. in the mean time we just spent the afternoon cleaning it and painted the rocker cover:
We've been looking at stud pattern adapters and wheels and little things to add so hopefully we can actually start these projects in the next couple of weeks.

Finally managed to sus the tires and get them fitted!
Took the car round to a mates place that night with half decent garage setup to cut the springs and fit the wheels
We cut 1 coil off the front and rear and rolled the guards with a hammer
Pretty stoked with way it all turned out heres a few pics since:
got it a wof and reg as well so should be sweet for summer cruising
want to try get racks and a windshield visor now maybe also lower the front a bit more...
Euans just bought wheels so hopefully his cars gona be done in the next couple of weeks
